We knew it was due to find some calmness amidst all chaos around us; we spoke about things we could do and places we could go, ended up on a faraway beach.
We love off seasons, don’t we? Scattered crowd less chaos and more time for each other focus never shifts you know when you’ve the right one across your shoulder, a person who doesn’t weigh you down, but makes you feel lighter, she was that Kind, and kind one too.
Around late noon, we checked in, threw our stuff and decided to head out for a walk.
As soon as we hit beach, she went manners please! While she took off her sandals, gosh I never chuckled that sweet in weeks I took off my shoes smiling and we started walking bare footed.
We didn’t speak much; there was a beautiful cliff to the right of us. Waves were too calm they could have forgotten how to crash the shore, with every step forward we started loosing sense of time sound and nature, only thing I could feel was her presence half way through she chuckled, maybe she remembered something silly I did weeks back without even knowing what it was, I was chuckling “what was it” and she paused for a bit patted on my arm nothing come, and I smiled walking along.
We had a long silent walk and decided to return to rest our legs, by the time we reached back it was like the beach pulling sun towards it. Maybe they missed each other since sunrise, can’t blame them.
We decided to sit and have some wine, I grabbed a bottle, walked back to the beach and saw her enjoying the waves with her arms crossed, a bit of breeze would give her goosebumps.
I sat there on a long bench, idk if she sensed my presence, she just turned walked towards me, I held up my arms wide open Gosh didn’t she figure it out, she came straight into my arms and lap.
I handed her a glass of wine, she settled in nice and cozy, the sun had almost sunk into the beach like it was kissing, what a sight !! ik rytt.
I just kept my glass aside, hugged her, slid my head under her arms and we ended up watching the most beautiful sunset, as the sun sunk onto the beach it took it as a whole, like they belonged to each other. ..
it felt like the sun and beach were kissing, at that very moment we ended up kissing !
