As Kassandra reached out towards the handle...the door opened itself and she entered the house , a few moments later the shut itself and the room became cold. She heard the sound of footsteps coming from upstairs and decided to investigate , as she reached the stairs a white light appeared in front of her , the white light swirled and glowed as it began to take human form , in front of her stood a ghost of a woman in an old dress from the 1600's.
"Please leave this place or he shall kill you" said the ghost , "who are you" said Kassandra quietly , "I am Evelyn Grey" said the ghost , "wait you are the one that disappeared over two hundred years ago , my sister Rose told me about you and his she solved the mystery of how you disappeared" said Kassandra , the ghost of Evelyn Grey nodded as she stood there in silence , "what are you doing here?" Asked Kassandra , "I have come to warn you , history is repeating itself" said Evelyn.
"What do you mean?" Asked Kassandra , "there is a man here in Trinity Hale , he is behind the murder's" said Evelyn "how do you know this?" Asked Kassandra. "He comes here to my old home to plan his murder's" said Evelyn , "hmm I wonder..." thought Kassandra as she brushed her hair away from her face , "I must go now" said Evelyn as she walked through a wall and vanished , "hmm I may need assistance from Rose" thought Kassandra.
A few moments later Kassandra left Evelyn Grey's old house and back to her parents home , after arriving at her parents home she told her family what had just happened. "I think I may need your expertise" said Kassandra , "you mean my magic?" said Rose , "yes I hope you have had enough practice" said Kassandra , "yes I think so , what do you have in mind?" Asked Rose , "we need to catch the murderer in the act" said Kassandra.
"I suspect it will not be as straightforward as we expect" said Rose , "you may be right sister , the murderer left no injuries on his victims so something feels strange about these murder's" said Kassandra. "Yes you are right , when do we begin the search for this murdered?" Asked Rose , "I think he will strike again tomorrow night , we must be prepared for an encounter" said Kassandra , "if you need our assistance we will gladly help you" said their parents Talia and Daniel.
The next day just after sunset...
Kassandra and her sister Rose were at their home preparing themselves for the night ahead , "are you ready?" asked Kassandra , "yes sister I am ready" said Rose. "I do not think the murderer will kill again until later this evening" said Kassandra , "I agree , I shall practice my magic a little whilst we wait" said Rose as they sat down , a couple of hours later the grandfather clock struck eight times , "eight o'clock , it is time to go" said Kassandra as she pulled up her hood and opened the door.
Kassandra and Rose left their house and walked through the streets , "Rose , you walk the streets in the shadows and I shall go up onto the rooftops" said Kassandra , Rose nodded and stuck to the shadows as she walked through the streets , Kassandra had climbed up a building and jumped from one roof to another , they kept a close eye on their surroundings and listened for anything unusual , a few minutes later Kassandra saw a man in a cloak and top hat following a woman towards an alleyway.
"Look over there sister by the alleyway" said Kassandra quietly , "I see them sister" said Rose , Rose moved through the shadows as Kassandra leapt across the rooftops swiftly. A few moments later they heard an ear piercing scream , moments later Rose caught the murderer in the act as he stood over the dead body , "there you are murderer!" Said Rose as Kassandra crouched on the rooftop above the alleyway , "you shall not catch me!" Said the man.
Suddenly Kassandra jumped down from the roof and blocked his escape , "you cannot stop me..." Said the man as he began to levitate , "how is he doing that" said Kassandra as the man flew away. "He is getting away sister!" Said Rose , Kassandra and Rose chased after the man , they followed him as he flew through the streets and past the church , a few moments later they had followed him towards Evelyn Grey's old house , "haha , you cannot stop me.." said the man as he went inside the house.
"Ah , he has jammed the door shut" said Rose as she and Kassandra stood outside , "how can we get inside" said Rose , "I have an idea!" Said Kassandra as she told her sister to follow her lead....
