Epic Legend
(This Story Is a Sequel To My Other Stories Eternal Embrace & Masquerade)
It is October 23rd 1888 in a town called Ashwood Hollow
A woman called Kassandra stood by a waterfall in the woods as the tree leaves fell around her , the waterfall glimmered beneath the glow of the moonlight as bats flew through the night sky. Kassandra looked into the water and watched the colourful fish swimming around , a few moments later she felt the gentle breeze brushing against her pale skin as she thought about her older sister Rose and her parents Talia and Daniel.
"I must visit them again soon" said Kassandra as her long brown hair flowed in the wind , her red eyes glimmered like crystals in the moonlight as she dipped her hand into the cool water. A short time later Kassandra had left the woods and walked back into town , as she walked through the streets a dark hooded figure was crouching on the rooftops watching her , as she continued to walk onwards through the streets the dark hooded figure followed her.
The dark hooded figure jumped from one roof to another silently like a shadow , suddenly Kassandra stopped in a poorly lit alleyway and said "hello? , who is there?". She looked around but saw nothing there and continued walking , then suddenly the dark hooded figure leapt down from the rooftops and landed in front of her , "stay back , I do not want to hurt you" said Kassandra as her red eyes glowed a little , a moment later the dark hooded figure revealed themselves.
"It is only me Kassandra" said the dark hooded figure , "do you not tire of trying to scare me Altair" said Kassandra , "not a chance it is fun" said Altair. A few moments later Kassandra and Altair climbed up the building and stood on the rooftop , "I have trained you well , maybe to well" said Kassandra , "maybe , but let us continue our hunt" said Altair as his black robe flowed in the wind , Kassandra pulled her hood up and looked at Altair.
"Ok let us continue our hunt" said Kassandra , seconds later Altair and Kassandra ran and jumped across one rooftop after another as the sun slowly started to rise , they saw their target and followed them towards the graveyard. A moment later they stopped and watched , "it is fortunate that my sister Rose was able to make us these talisman's to protect us from the sunlight" said Kassandra , "yes otherwise we would be a pile of ashes" said Altair.
"BANG"... a gunshot echoed through the graveyard as their target had just killed a man in cold blood , Altair and Kassandra jumped down from the rooftops and landed behind their target. "Drop the gun now" said Altair , "or what? , what're you going to do if I don't" said the man , suddenly Kassandra grabbed the man and threw him through mid air , the man smashed through a gravestone and fell into a freshly dug grave , the man shook his head and then climbed out of the grave and pointed the gun at Kassandra.
"Oh no you don't" said Altair as he ran fast towards the man , "BANG" the man had fired a bullet towards Kassandra , she quickly moved out of the washing as Altair slid between the man's legs and then stood up behind him. Altair unleashed his hidden blade and thrust it into the he man's neck killing him instantly , a moment later he threw the man's body into the open grave and then walked over towards Kassandra , "he will non hurt anyone else anymore" said Altair.
Thirty minutes later...
"I must go back to my home in Blackthorn Valley" said Altair as they walked towards the train station , "say hello to my parents for me" asked Kassandra , "yes of course" said Altair as he boarded the train to Blackthorn Valley. Several minutes later Kassandra had left the train station and went home to get some rest , after she arrived home Kassandra went to her room and lay on her bed , a short time later she began to have visions about her sister Rose.
A few minutes later Kassandra's visions had faded and she she decided to go and visit her sister Rose in Trinity Hale , the next day she boarded the train and sat in a private compartment. "The trip to Trinity Hale should not take long" thought Kassandra as the train began to roll down the tracks , as the train moved down the tracks fast the weather had turned , rain began to fall hard and fast as the wind grew stronger by the minute.
Thunder rumbled as the lightning flashed amongst the dark clouds , "the journey may take a little longer than expected" thought Kassandra as the train slowed down a little...
