Part 2 : An Unplanned Familiarity

Days passed, and Vedha slowly stopped feeling like a stranger in Zozo.

The unfamiliar usernames began turning into familiar faces, and the room that had once seemed like a crowd of people who already knew one another gradually became a place where she, too, had her own little space. She started mingling with the regulars, joining conversations more freely, and finding herself involved in discussions that could go on for hours without any particular reason.

Some days were filled with laughter and effortless conversations. Other days brought playful flirting, unexpected banter, and the occasional exchange of words that left half the room entertained. She enjoyed the variety of it all. There was never a shortage of something to talk about, someone to disagree with, or a ridiculous argument waiting to happen.

But not everyone in the room appealed to her.

She never quite liked people who acted differently in the group chat and in private messages, keeping things innocent in public while flirting in whispers.

Vedha preferred things to be straightforward. She had no patience for pretence or people who wore different masks depending on who they were talking to.

No hide-and-seek. No masks. Just honesty.

She respected privacy; she just didn't care for pretence. And if there was one thing Vedha enjoyed, it was a good argument. Sometimes she genuinely disagreed, and sometimes she simply liked provoking people to see how far they'd go to defend a ridiculous opinion. Rage baiting was one of her favourite pastimes, especially when she could stir up a whole debate with one perfectly timed comment.

As long as it stayed fun, Vedha was happy to stir things up with a sarcastic remark or two and watch the chaos unfold.

Zozo was becoming quite entertaining.

And somewhere along the way, Sarang entered the picture.

She had no reason to believe he would be any different from the others, and perhaps he wasn't, not at first.

But sometimes, the most unexpected stories begin with the most ordinary conversations. And neither of them knew yet where this one would lead...
