The sun burned bright in the clear blue sky above Alexandria as Melody continued her search for James and other members of the Order of Romanus. The streets were packed full with people as they walked around the market's and made some purchases , "hmm they must be here somewhere" Melody thought as she walked through the market's and looked around.
Twenty minutes later she had finally caught sight of James with a few members of the order , "there you are!" Thought melody was she blended in with the crowd and moved closer. Moments later she moved out of sight and eavesdropped on their conversation , "we must take the amulet of Amunet to the valley of the kings" said James , "let us go now , it shall take time to get there" said Remus one of the other members of the order.
James agreed and within moments they headed onwards to the valley of the kings , "I must follow them" thought Melody as the sun shone bright over Alexandria. The day's passed by as Melody continued to follow James and his men to the valley of the kings , eventually they had finally arrived at the valley and looked around , James held the amulet of Amunet up in the air and waited.
Moments later the sunlight shone through the jewel and a beam of red light hit a symbol on a wall , then suddenly a secret door began to open in front of them. "What is he doing?" Melody wondered as she watched from behind a large rock , a few moments later James and his men entered through the secret door and entered the chamber within , Melody moved quickly and followed them inside.
A short time later she reached a corridor and concealed herself amongst the darkness and watched , James looked as if he was doing some kind of strange ritual. "Hmm I do not like the look of this" Melody thought as she continued to watch , suddenly the tomb shook as the jewel in the amulet glowed bright red , "give me your power almighty Amunet!" Said James as his men chanted.
"I must stop this now!" Thought Melody , seconds later she threw a few throwing knives through the air and then drew her sword. The throwing knives hit James's men killing them as Melody ran forwards , James turned round and unleashed some kind of energy shockwave knocking Melody onto the ground , "you are to late assassin , I possess the power of Amunet!" Said James as his eyes glowed red.
"I shall stop you!" Said Melody as she got up off the floor , seconds later James unleashed another energy shockwave towards her. Melody leapt out of the way and concealed herself amongst the darkness and caught her breath , "you cannot hide from me" said James , Melody remained silent and focused on her next move , "you cannot stop the Order of Romanus!" Said James as he moved closer.
Then suddenly Melody leapt out of the darkness kicked James through the air , James fell through the air and then crashed into the floor. "Is that the best you can do!" Said James as he began to levitate up off the floor , "what the!? , how is he doing that?" Thought Melody as James moved through the air and fired energy blasts towards her , Melody ducked and weaved dodging his attacks as he moved towards her.
Moments later the tomb shook once more and a voice echoed through the chambers , "how dare you misuse my power!!" Said the voice. Melody ducked into the shadows and then drew her gun and fired it , the bullet hit James in the leg as shadowy figure appeared behind him , moments later a woman appeared and used some kind of power to pull James backwards.
Her eyes glowed white and her white and gold dress flowed , James turned around and saw the woman in front of him , "who are you...get off me!!" Said James. "How dare you address me that way! , I am Amunet" Said the woman , Melody watched from amongst the shadows as Amunet grew angrier , Amunet took the amulet from James and drained his powers and took them back.
"Ahhh" shouted James as he fell to the floor , as he fell to the floor and envelope fell out of his pocket , moments later Amunet grabbed James and lifted him up off the ground with one hand. "Ah let me go" said James as he dangled in mid air by his neck as Amunet held him , "justice shall be swift..." Said Amunet in a sinister tone of voice , moments later she drained James's life force and then suddenly he burst into dust.
"Come out of the shadows whoever you are!" Said Amunet , Melody walked out of the shadows and moved towards her , "who are you?" Asked Amunet. "I am Melody and assassin , seeking to eradicate the Order of Romanus" she said , "I know of the Order of Romanus , they are an ancient order from my time" said Amunet , "I tried to stop him from taking the amulet" said Melody.
"I thank you for trying , I must go back to where I came.." said Amunet , Melody smiled at her and then watched as Amunet faded away in front of her. "I wonder where she went... maybe back to the afterlife...I may never know.." Melody thought as she picked up the envelope that had fallen out of James's pocket , "let me see what this letter says" said Melody as she opened the envelope.
"Hmm the leader of the Order of Romanus is in Greece , I wonder why?" Thought Melody as she continued to read the letter. "Hmm I see , the order has a new headquarters and their leader is in Greece to announce it" said Melody , moments later she left the tomb and headed towards Alexandria , once more the days passed by as she travelled to Alexandria.
"Ah finally back in Alexandria , I must catch the ship before it leaves!" Thought Melody as she walked through the streets towards the harbour. Ten minutes later she had arrived at the harbour just in time and made her way onto the ship that was headed to Greece and sat in a compartment , "I can finally get a little rest while we sail to Greece" Melody thought as she closed her eyes.
Just as she closed her eyes the ship had begun it's journey and set sail across the shimmering sea towards Greece.
