After Melody left her home she headed towards the darkest part of Nightingale Village and waited for The Phantom to strike again. She crouched atop a roof overlooking an abandoned part of the village and watched people's movements and behaviour closely , one hour later nothing had happened and Melody saw no signs of anything suspicious in the area.
"I know you are out there.." Melody thought as she continued to observe , then a few moments later she saw a man in dark clothes. Melody moved across the rooftop and followed him as the man began to follow a woman , Melody continued to follow the man until he and the person he was following suddenly stopped , the man quickly pulled a knife out of his pocket and thrust his arm forward.
Melody acted swiftly and jumped from the roof , "look out!" Said Melody as she fell through that air towards the man , the woman screamed and closed her eyes. Just as the man was about to thrust his knife into the woman Melody landed on him and then hit him in the back , the woman opened her eyes and said "you saved me" , Melody was silent and bowed her head down a little.
"Go home to safety , quickly" said Melody , a few moments later the woman walked away as fast as she could towards her home. Suddenly the man slipped out of Melody's grip and picked up his knife , "you cannot stop me...I am The Phantom!!" Said the man as he moved around slowly , "Melody swiftly drew her sword and held it firmly , The Phantom stood still and suddenly everything had become silent except for the wind.
Moments later The Phantom charged forward and attacked , Melody moved fast and swung her sword through the air , her sword clashed against his knife as the wind blew around them , The Phantom continued to attack in a frenzy but to no avail , Melody easily blocked his attacks and then kicked him in the gut , The Phantom fell to his knees trying to catch his breath as Melody kicked the knife out of his hand.
"Go ahead kill me!" Said The Phantom , Melody pointed her sword at him then stood there in silence , The Phantom coughed a little as a few tree leaves floated past them. A few moments later Melody punched him hard and knocked him out , "you are going to prison where you belong" said Melody as she put her sword away and then dragged The Phantom through the streets of Nightingale Village.
Several minutes later Melody had arrived at the police station and handed The Phantom over to the police officer , "here is the phantom" said Melody. "You won't be killing anyone else anymore" said the police officer as Inspector Black came out of his office , "ah finally , we have this murderer! , lock him up" Said Inspector Black , the police officer dragged The Phantom away and locked him in a cell.
"It has been a while since I last saw you" said Inspector Black , "I have been a little busy recently Inspector" said Melody , "with more assassin work no doubt" said Inspector Black. "Yes , and some personal things , The Phantom cannot harm anyone anymore" said Melody , "yes he will hang for his crimes" said the Inspector , "I must go now , it was good seeing you again Inspector Black" said Melody.
"Get some rest , looks like you need it" said the Inspector , a few moments later Melody had left the police station and headed home. A short time later Melody had finally arrived home and began to change into her night gown , "hmm catching murderer's is all I seem to do these days , if only there were something more....exciting" thought Melody as she climbed into her bed and lay down.
Melody closed her eyes and within a few minutes she fell asleep , as she slept Melody began to dream about a mission from her past. Melody turned from side to side as the dream took hold over her , she began to see a memory of herself and her partner from seven years ago , bodies lay everywhere on the street , Melody kneeled beside her partner as the war between the Assassin's and the secret Order of Romanus raged on.
Her partner Pharios lay there in her arms , "you have been a good friend but you cannot save me this time.." said Pharios as blood dropped from his wounds. Suddenly the dream changed to another scene , Pharios lay there on the stone ground dead as Melody stood in silence , rage began to take over her until suddenly she snapped , Melody drew her sword and started walk through the battlefield.
A group of members from the Order of Romanus ran towards her , Melody swung and thrust her sword through the air slaughtering the group one by one showing no mercy. Blood splattered across the stone ground as Melody continued to attack the Order of Romanus members , "I SHALL KILL YOU ALL!!" Shouted Melody as she ran across the battlefield of Everwood Hollow.
Melody attacked the Order of Romanus in a frenzy as they tried to escape from her , the other assassin's continued to battle the other members of the Order of Romanus as Melody raged. Fire and smoke filled Everwood Hollow as explosion's rocked the town , Melody's robe soaked in the blood of the assassin's enemy , then suddenly Melody woke up and breathed heavily.
"It is just a dream..." Said Melody as she brushed her hair away from her eyes , "I must leave Nightingale Village and see the others" thought Melody as she lay back down and caught her breath back...
