In a small village lived a boy named Ramu. He was a very noble, smart and honest boy. He always spoke the truth and never stole. Due to his honesty, all the people of the village respected him. One night he slept at the door of his house. That very night some people of the village were stealing from the house next to his and taking away the goods.

Then Ramu woke up hearing the sound of their footsteps. Ramu went to them and saw that they were some people of the village who were stealing and going away. Those people started bribing Ramu and said that you should not tell this to anyone.

The next day a Panchayat was held in the village, in which Ramu went in front of everyone and told the truth. For which the thieves were sentenced to punishment and everyone praised Ramu's honesty and the people of the village also rewarded him.
