The stars shone bright as it reached midnight
Athens was lit up by the soft glow of moonlight
Pegasus flew through the clear night sky
Flying above Athens way up high
Athena looked down at her favourite place
A look of happiness on her beautiful face
She watched as Pegasus soared through the sky
Pegasus flew so fast , Athena was amazed and said, "oh my"
She looked at Athens as the moonlight shone bright
She stared and thought It was such a beautiful sight
The next morning as the sun shone so bright
The sea shimmered in the golden morning light
Pegasus flew down through the air and landed on his feet
He remembered he helped Perseus with his heroic feat
Pegasus walked up a hill that was very steep
Athena watched her friend Pegasus as he soon fell asleep.
