Oooh Birdie!!
It's a nice day, clear skies, warm with a nice cool breeze, the large tree outside the kitchen swaying gently, with a low hanging branch close by the window.
Avril: *Yawns* "hey what are you doing?"
Me: *Washing the dishes* "Washing the dishes."
Avril: "That's boring..." *loud excited miaow*
Rikku's ears prick upwards from the sofa in the living room.
Avril: "Hey Reeks, a building has landed on the tree!"
A small thud can be heard as Rikku jumps off the sofa, the pitter patter of claws on my wooden floors as she runs into the kitchen, jumps on to the work top and looks out of the window
Rikku: "This is the best thing happen all day!" *Tail wagging excitedly, eyes watching every movement of the bird, her back arched, and POUNCE! Rikku jumps at the window!*
Bird: "Stupid cat!" *shaking its head*
Rikku: "Who are you calling stoopid?!"
Avril: "Yeah! Your a pigeon, dirty smelly, and food!!"
Me: "Now, now girls" *knocks on window lightly* "Your not going to get the bird, there's a window in the way... plus we 12 foot high from the ground"
Rikku: "Pffft, watch this stoopid hooman!"
Rikku jumps down on to the floor, casually walks into the living room, sits in the middle of the room, licks her paw, wipes her face, then charges into the kitchen, jumps on to the worktop, straight into the window head first with a LOUD THUD, bounces of said window of the work top, desperately tries to scramble up the work top and fails landing in her water bowls
Rikku: *back arched, all wet, hissing at water bowls* "Who put them there?"
Me: "They've always been there... Are you ok?"
Rikku: "What do you think hooman?"
Rikku walks in to the living room sulking
Avril: "At least you scared the bird away..."
