Athena looked closely at the black and purple smoke protecting the door , "hmm...I wonder" said Athena , she took out her amulet and held it in front of the door. Her amulet glowed bright as the white light hit the black and purple smoke , suddenly the smoke swirled around and slowly started to fade away , moments later the black and purple smoke had gone and Odysseus tried to open the door again , "the door still won't open" said Odysseus as he turned the handle.
"Let me try" said Amphitrite , Amphitrite's eyes glowed as energy surged through her body and then moments later she fired a large blast of water energy at the door. The water energy blasted against the door but it didn't budge , Amphitrite stopped and said "my powers aren't strong enough to open the door" , "let's see if I can open it" said Athena , Athena placed her hands on the door and her eyes started to glow , an enormous amount of energy surged through Athena's body , moments later she unleashed her power and the door burst into flames.
The door burned and quickly turned into ash in front of them , they looked into the room and saw a hooded figure standing in front of them , "welcome to my tower" said the hooded figure , "who are you" said Odysseus. The figure pulled down their hood and revealed their identity , "it's you..." Said Athena , "yes it is I Hercules" said the figure , Athena and Odysseus stayed at him in disbelief , "I Hercules am the one that controls the mist on this island" he said , "wait Hercules would never do anything bad" whispered Odysseus to Athena.
"Yes I agree , Hercules's is acting very strange , almost as if he's possessed" said Athena , suddenly Amphitrite walked in between them and said "join us" , Athena and Odysseus moved back as Hercules and Amphitrite stood side by side , and drew their weapons. Odysseus and Athena drew their swords and held their shields up , Athena and Odysseus battled Hercules and Amphitrite as the weather outside grew worse , thunder rumbled louder as lightning hit the ground , Athena's sword and Amphitrite's silver trident clashed against each other sending a shockwave through the tower walls.
Odysseus's and Hercules swords clashed loudly , Hercules was to strong for him....Hercules knocked Odysseus to the ground as Amphitrite and Athena battled fiercely. Suddenly Odysseus saw a small glimmer of light amongst the shadows at the edge of the room , "what's that" thought Odysseus as he looked a little closer , as he looked closer Odysseus could make out an outline of a figure , he reached for his sword and barged into Hercules making him lose his balance , Odysseus swiftly turned around and thrust his sword his into the shadows , suddenly Hercules and Amphitrite fell to the ground and lay there unconscious , the shadows faded away and revealed a hooded figure.
Odysseus pulled the figures hood down to reveal their identity , "Calypso" said Odysseus in surprise as he slowly pulled his sword out of her , Calypso fell to her knees as blood started to leak out of her wound. "Why are you bleeding , you're a goddess" said Odysseus , " I angered the other god's and goddess's and they made me mortal" said Calypso , "I created the mist on this island so I could get my revenge on the god's by trapping you three here" said Calypso , moments later Hercules and Amphitrite regained consciousness and stood next to Athena and Odysseus.
Hercules kneeled down and held Calypso in his arms as she took her last breath , a short time later Athena , Odysseus , Hercules and Amphitrite took Calypso's body outside and buried in the flower meadow nearby. They stood around Calypso's grave as Odysseus placed some flowers down , the storm had stopped and the mist covering the island vanished , several hours later the sun rose above the horizon and covered the island in a golden glow , "I must go back to my husband Poseidon" said Amphitrite , Athena, Odysseus and Hercules said goodbye to her as she transported herself back to where they had met her.
Athena clicked her fingers and a few moments later she and Odysseus and Hercules were standing on the beach outside the sanctuary , "well I should continue on my journey as well" said Hercules as he and Odysseus shook hands. Hercules walked down the beach and faded amongst the trees as he walked through the forest , "looks like it's just us again" said Athena as she held Odysseus's hand and watched the sun rise , a short time later Odysseus and Athena looked at the map and saw more locations suddenly appear on it , "looks like we have more to explore" said Odysseus , Athena and Odysseus walked past the sanctuary and headed back towards the lake where they had met Adenia.
Hours later Athena and Odysseus had finally arrived at the lake and set up camp and stayed there for a while , Adenia climbed out of the lake and beside them as they ate some food and drank a little water. Athena and Odysseus told Adenia about the adventures they had since they last met until the sun began to set , an hour later the moon had risen high in the night sky and shone over the lake as the multicoloured bubbles floated in the air and fireflies flew around as they drifted off to sleep...a few hours later Odysseus woke up as he heard a noise nearby , he grabbed his sword and walked into the forest to see what was out there...
