Odysseus and Athena had arrived on another island to find an old friend waiting for them , "we meet again my friends" said the man as he smiled and ran his fingers through his hair , "Hercules, good to see you again" said Odysseus as they shook hands , Hercules walked with Odysseus and Athena and showed them around the island , as he showed them around a hissing sound came from a strange temple nearby , Odysseus , Athena and Hercules quietly walked towards the temple and saw torches lighting up the darkness , "I think we've been here before" whispered Odysseus , "I think you're right" said Athena.
Suddenly two Gorgons appeared from the shadows , "you dare to return here" hissed Euryale then the other Gorgon Stheno said "you'll regret coming back here" , "don't look into their eyes" said Odysseus to Athena and Hercules as they drew their swords. " Remember we are immortal" said Euryale and Stheno , "I'm not the same man you met before , I'm a god now" said Odysseus , the Gorgon sisters hissed loudly in fear then attacked , Euryale and Stheno swung their tales at Odysseus, Athena and Hercules , Hercules defended himself as Athena Odysseus started firing energy blasts , Odysseus's electrical energy blast hit Stheno and sent her through the air crashing through marble pillars.
Euryale's rage grew as she tried to get Odysseus to look at her eyes , "nice try" said Odysseus as Athena and Hercules attacked Stheno just as she got up , Euryale swiped at Odysseus with her sharp claws but he was to fast , Odysseus moved fast like lightning and jumped on Stheno,s back, "I've got this , go after Euryale" said Odysseus. Odysseus grabbed Stheno's head and twisted it breaking her neck , "you're only immortal to mortals not god's" said Odysseus , he ran towards Athena and Hercules as they fought Euryale, she saw her sister's body laying there the screeched loudly and said, "you will pay for this" , suddenly Euryale unleashed a cloud of smoke and vanished.
Odysseus, Athena and Hercules left the temple and searched for Euryale but couldn't find her , "how did she vanish like that" said Hercules , "she must've had help from a god" said Athena, "we should be careful from now on" said Hercules. They walked onwards past the temple and through the canyon until they reached a small town, they decided to rest for a while before travelling onwards and wondered what awaited them..
