"We have killed the intruder" said Odysseus , "you could have done it yourself Hades" said Athena , "yes I could've but where would've been the fun in that haha" said Hades, Kassandra rolled her eyes as Hades laughed. "Ok time to send us back to where we were" said Odysseus , Athena, Odysseus, Kassandra and his crew walked back down to the dock and boarded the ship , they rowed down the river until they reached the exit to the underworld , suddenly a burst of purple light flashed in front of them and they were teleported back to where they had came from.
They sailed onwards across the sparkling clear blue sea as birds flew past them overhead and dolphins jumped in and out of the waves , after several hours they had reached an island surrounded by fog , thunder rumbled and lightning flashed as rain fell down heavily , they anchored the ship and went ashore then walked across the hard rocky ground. They headed east and found themselves walking through fields then reached a small canyon with a temple built into the rock face, "hmm strange , I've never seen a temple like this before" said Athena.
Odysseus and his men drew their swords and raised their shields as everyone walked into the strange temple ,the temple glowed in the light from the torches on the wall, suddenly they could hear voices up ahead in a room down the hall. Athena , Kassandra, Odysseus and his men moved slowly and quietly towards the room , as they entered the room they saw nothing there then one of Odysseus's men walked ahead almost tripping over a fallen statue , Odysseus took a look at the statue on the floor and then saw more of them around the room.
"I've seen this before" whispered Odysseus , he told his crewmen to move into formation, "we're in grave danger" said Odysseus. Suddenly a slithering and rattling noises came from the shadows close by , ""what is it?" Said Kassandra and Athena, two figures burst out of the shadows and screeched, "their gorgon's" said Odysseus as he and his crew gripped their weapons tight. Odysseus raised his shield in front of his eyes and told his crew to do the same , "don't look into their eyes or they'll turn you to stone" said Odysseus , Kassandra grabbed her daggers and moved into the shadows and waited to strike as the gorgon's got ready to attack.
"What are your names" said Odysseus to the gorgon's, "my name is Euryale" said one gorgon then the other gorgon said "my name is Stheno" , we are sisters , "I've heard of another gorgon called medusa , she was slayed by Perseus" said Odysseus. Euryale and Stheno screeched and hissed loudly as their temper flared, "prepare to die mortals" said the gorgon's as they lunged towards them....
