Athena, Odysseus and his crew finally reached the small mountain area and then stopped and surveyed the area , suddenly the wind died and the birds went silent, "something is here" said Athena. Odysseus and his men drew their swords and moved into a circular formation around Athena , she closed her eyes and listened carefully to the surroundings and suddenly she felt the ground vibrate beneath her feet, "it's coming for us" said Athena as the vibrations got stronger , suddenly a creature came into their sight , "it's a dragon" shouted Odysseus.
Odysseus ordered his men to change battle formation and formed a wall in front of Athena , the dragon launched itself towards them and fired a large burst of fire at them , Odysseus and his men held their shields tight as the dragons fiery breath blasted against them.
Odysseus and his men pushed forward through the relenting flames and moved closer towards the dragon , Odysseus's men attacked the dragon with their spears but their attacks didn't even scratch the creature, "our weapons are useless" said one of the men.
Odysseus thrust his sword towards the dragon and landed a blow cutting it's leg , the dragon roared then swung it's tail knocking a few men onto the ground, the dragon fired it's fiery breath once more towards the fallen men , the men screamed in agony as the dragon burned them alive and turned them into ash. "Get back now" shouted Odysseus to his remaining crewmen , suddenly Athena stepped forward in front of them , her eyes glowed brightly as the dragon fired it's breath towards her. Athena created a red and gold energy shield in front of her and blocked the dragons fiery breath, suddenly Athena fired an enormous blast of divine energy at the dragon and sent it through the air and into the mountainside.
The dragon raged and launched itself into the sky then flew down towards Athena and Odysseus at high speed, Odysseus twirled his sword in his hand as the dragon came closer and closer , suddenly Athena summoned a lightning bolt and fired it towards the dragon hitting it , the dragon roared in pain as it kept coming towards them. Odysseus threw his sword up through the air towards the dragon then the dragon roared again as Odysseus's sword impaled it's scaly skin and pierced it's heart , the dragon crashed into the ground just barely missing Athena, and Odysseus, he walked up to the dragons lifeless body and pulled his sword out, the dragons silver blood dripping off Odysseus's sword.
Suddenly a burst of green light flashed in front of them, the goddess Demeter had returned...
