Later that night...
Rose, Kassandra and their parents Talia and Daniel had returned to where it had all began in Blackthorn Valley, Rose took her sister and parents to her old home near the lighthouse. "We have made it" said Rose as she opened the door, everyone went inside the house and then entered the living room, "mother, father please sit down" said Rose, "what went wrong with the resurrection?" Said Kassandra.
"I am not sure, maybe I missed something or read something wrong.." said Rose as she sat down and took the book of the dead out of her case. Talia and Daniel sat there in silence as Rose read through the book, Kassandra looked out through the window and could see the ground's of the family's old home, what was once a pile of rubble and ash now stood a new recently rebuilt mansion.
"They rebuilt our old home sister!" Said Kassandra, "I shall look later, I am a little preoccupied trying to figure out what went wrong with the resurrection" said Rose. After a few minutes Talia and Daniel stood up and walked towards the fireplace, "ugh, what happened.." said Daniel, "the resurrection went wrong father.." said Kassandra, "can you help us?" Said Talia.
"I am working on it now mother" said Rose as continued to read through the book of the dead, "come look through the window mother, father" said Kassandra. A moment later Talia and Daniel walked towards the window and then looked through it to see the recently rebuilt mansion where they used to live a long time ago, "it looks perfect.." said Talia, we should purchase it!" Said Daniel.
"Let us focus on fixing what went wrong with your resurrection first" said Kassandra, "I have found it!, I have found what went wrong.." said Rose. "What is it sister?" Asked Kassandra, "I misread the instructions, I should have used their hair as well as blood when resurrecting them" said Rose, Kassandra sighed a little and then said "what do we do now?", "it is simple, I just need some hair and blood from mother and father then I must read this part of the book" said Rose.
Talia and Daniel pulled out a hair from their heads and then handed them to Rose, Kassandra took the necklace and ring out of her case and gave them to Rose. "Thank you, now I just need the blood!" Said Rose, a moment later Talia and Daniel cut their fingers with Kassandra's dagger and then smeared their blood on the necklace and ring, Rose began to read the book carefully and a red light began to appear around Talia and Daniel.
"I feel...good.." said Daniel as energy surged through his body, "I can feel the energy running through my veins" said Talia. "It is working!" Said Kassandra as Rose continued to read from the book. A matter of moments later it was over, Talia and Daniel had been restored to their former selves and the hunger was gone, a few moments later Talia and Daniel sat down and talked.
"What have we done...we killed those innocent people back in Lilyveil Hollow" said Talia, "we will never be allowed to go back there" said Daniel. "Mother, father it was not your fault, you were not yourselves!" Said Rose as Kassandra comforted them, "do not blame yourselves" said Kassandra, "I shall go to Trinity Hale tomorrow and collect your belongings mother, father" said Rose.
"In the meantime we shall purchase the rebuilt mansion where we used to live" said Daniel as he wrapped his arm around Talia and held her close. "It shall be like the old day's" said Talia as she looked at Daniel and then smiled, "Indeed it shall" said Daniel, "let us get some rest, we have a busy time ahead of us" said Rose, a few minutes later Rose, Kassandra and their parents went upstairs to their bedrooms and got some much needed rest.
Two weeks later...
Rose, Kassandra and their parents Talia and Daniel had sold their homes in Lilyveil Hollow and Trinity Hale and now lived in the rebuilt mansion where their old home once stood. "It is good to be back here in Blackthorn Valley" said Daniel, "we have some good memories here" said Kassandra, "and some bad memories.." said Talia, "let us enjoy what we have now" said Rose as everyone sat in front of the fireplace.
"I miss Lilyveil Hollow but I like it here" said Kassandra, "I miss Trinity Hale, the villager's were sad to see me leave after I collected your belongings mother, father" said Rose. "Well maybe you could go back there in the future" said Daniel and then smiled a little, "hmm I shall think about that" said Rose, "I had forgotten how peaceful it is here in Blackthorn Valley" said Talia.
"I have an idea, we should have a masquerade party like we did in the old day's!" Said Daniel, "an excellent idea my love" said Talia. "When?" Asked Rose, "we shall need to have plenty of supplies, so how about later this month" said Daniel, "that sounds good, I cannot wait!" Said Kassandra in excitement, "very well then it is settled, we shall invite our old friends and make new friends" said Daniel.
"It shall be the biggest, grandest and most extravagant masquerade party there has ever been!" Said Talia.
