A short time later...
Talia, Daniel and Kassandra went outside into the back garden and found Rose sitting on the bench holding Edward closely. "I see you have bitten him" said Daniel, "I told him I was a vampire and he was not afraid of me" said Rose as Edward sat there silently as he began to change into a vampire, "this reminds me of when I changed you Daniel my love" said Talia.
"Yes I remember that day my love, I shall never forget it" said Daniel as he wrapped his arm around Talia, moments later Edward's eyes turned to a blood red colour and looked at Rose. "I feel...strong" said Edward, his transformation into a vampire now complete, a moment later Rose and Edward stood up and walked towards fountain, a few seconds later Edward placed his finger's in the water and moved them around a little.
"The water feels strange somehow.." said Edward as he took his fingers out of the water, "you shall get used to the new feelings" said Talia. "We should go back inside and tend to our guest's" said Daniel, a few moments later Talia and Daniel went back inside the mansion and Kassandra followed them, "yes we must get back to the masquerade party" said Rose.
A minute later Rose and Edward went back inside the mansion and walked towards the ballroom, meanwhile in the library, Talia and Daniel were talking to Mr and Mrs Clearwater, "are you enjoying the party?" Asked Talia, "oh yes thank you for inviting us" said Mrs Clearwater, "we will have to leave in a moment, we are expecting a few ships to arrive so we need to be back home at the lighthouse" said Mr Clearwater.
"Very well, I hope you have a pleasant night" said Daniel, after a few minutes Mr and Mrs Clearwater said goodbye and then left the masquerade party and went home to their lighthouse. Meanwhile in the dining room Kassandra was talking to Mayor Ravenwood, "it is getting a little late for me and I have a busy day tomorrow so I must leave and get some rest" said Mayor Ravenwood.
"It was good seeing you Mayor" said Kassandra, Mayor Ravenwood said goodbye and left the masquerade party and headed back to his home. Half an hour later Kassandra joined Rose and Edward in the ballroom, Kassandra sat down and watched as Rose and Edward danced around the room, the guests in the ballroom became hungry and went into the dining room to eat as the other guests in the dining room entered the ballroom.
Rose and Edward danced slowly as Kassandra rested her eyes for a moment, a few minutes later Talia and Daniel entered the ballroom and stood beside Kassandra. "Is everything alright Kassandra? Asked Talia, " yes mother, I was just resting my eyes for a moment" said Kassandra, the music continued to fill the mansion as the smell of food grew stronger.
A few hours had passed and the guests had started to get tired and were ready to go home, Talia, Daniel and Kassandra walked into the hall and began to say goodbye to their guests as Rose and Edward sat in the living room. "Thank you for coming" said Talia. "Have a pleasant night everyone" said Talia, after several minutes all of the guest's had gone and everything became quiet.
"Our guest's seemed to enjoy themselves!" Said Kassandra, "we should hold more parties in the future" said Daniel, "maybe a moonlight garden party next time my love" said Talia. "An excellent idea Talia my dear" said Daniel, a few moments later Talia, Daniel and Kassandra entered the living room and joined Rose and Edward, "are you two alright?" Asked Talia.
"Yes mother we are doing well" said Rose as Edward placed his arm around Rose's shoulders, Talia, Daniel and Kassandra sat down on the sofa and chair opposite them and relaxed. "Tonight is a good night, but I still prefer the masquerade ball where we met" said Daniel, "yes as do I my love" said Talia as Daniel held her close, "it is good to be back here in Blackthorn Valley, I think I shall stay here" said Rose.
"You can stay with us for as long as you want Rose and you as well Edward" said Daniel, "yes, you can stay with us as well Kassandra" said Talia. "That is very generous of you both, thank you" said Edward as the moonlight from the new moon shone through the living room windows, "I shall bring my belongings here and move in tomorrow evening" said Edward as Rose kissed his cheek.
Five months later, 31st October...
Edward had settled in at the mansion with Rose and her family as Talia and Daniel celebrated their anniversary, "a present for you my love" said Daniel as he handed her a small box. Talia opened the box and looked inside, inside the box was a new ruby necklace with matching earrings, "they are so beautiful my love, thank you" said Talia, moments later Talia took Daniel to the window.
Daniel and Talia looked out through the window and there stood a horse and carriage, "there is your present my love" said Talia. "A horse and carriage!, how did you know I wanted them" said Daniel, "I know you like horse's and now we can all travel around easier, and of course you can ride the horse by yourself as well" said Talia, Daniel smiled at Talia and thanked her.
"I cannot wait to ride my horse but first I must name him!" Said Daniel, Talia looked at him and smiled then held his hand. "I think I shall name him Shadow!" Said Daniel as he looked at his new horse, "and excellent name my love!" Said Talia as she looked out through the window, "I must ride him" said Daniel, "go ahead my dear" said Talia, a moment later Daniel went outside and climbed upon Shadow his new horse and then went for a ride.
Daniel's horse Shadow ran fast like lightning through the field's behind the mansion as Talia, Rose, Kassandra and Edward watched. "Father looks like he is having a good time" said Rose, "maybe father will let me ride the horse!" Said Kassandra, "we shall see Kassandra.." said Talia as she placed her hands on her Rose and Kassandra's shoulder's and then smiled.
Later that day...
Kassandra, Rose and Edward had gone out for the evening and Talia and Daniel were alone together at last, "it has been a little while since we enjoyed each others company..." Said Talia. "What do you mean?, oh wait..I see what you are saying.." said Daniel, a few moments later Talia took Daniel's hand and smiled at him seductively then led him upstairs towards their bedroom.
