Maths - Can You Solve?

Zero doesn't have a multiplicative inverse as multiplicative inverse is the reciprocal for a number “a”, denoted by 1/a, is a number which when multiplied by “a” yields the multiplicative identity 1. The product of any real number with zero is zero.

The multiplicative inverse of a number is that which would give a result of 1 when multiplied together. So the multiplicative inverse of x is 1/x. Multiplicative Inverse of Zero: The multiplicative inverse of zero does not exist. This is because 0xN=0 and 1/0 is undefined.
