November 5th...
K had been staying with me for the last five day's as I helped her out with finding a new home, as K and I worked some things out, someone started hammering against the front door. A man started shouting and demanding K to come outside, I asked who the man was and she told me it was the man that she ran away from, I got up and picked up my sword and then walked to the door.
I hid my sword behind my back and then opened the door, I asked the man what he wanted and he shouted at K, I moved swiftly and thrust my sword around and pressed the tip of the blade against his chin. I warned the man and told him to be silent or I'd end him right there, K walked towards me and then stood beside me, the man tried to grab her and then I pinned him against a wall.
I warned him that if he touched her then I would not hesitate to kill him, the man grumbled as K asked him what he wanted. The man said that he had come to take her back and then K refused, "I know what you did to her, you're lucky you're still breathing right now" I said to the man, then suddenly he tried to punch me, I hit him in the gut with my knee and then kicked him down onto the ground.
I suggested that he stay down but of course he was to stupid to listen, he then proceeded to grab K and dragged her outside into the cold autumn night as fireworks lit up the dark sky. The man had his hand wrapped around K's neck choking her a little as he slowly dragged her towards the lake, I followed him as he dragged K away to the lake, when I arrived there I saw the man dragging K into the water.
The man was completely insane, he said if he couldn't have her then neither could I, moments later he pulled her under the water. I stood there for a moment and thought to myself, after a couple of seconds I leapt into the lake and swam under the surface, I grabbed the man's neck tight trying not to strangle him as I grabbed K to free her from his grasp, moments later K was free from him and I pointed towards the surface urging her to get out of the water.
The man and I fought in the darkness of the bottom of the lake as K climbed out of the water and onto dry land, I punched him in the jaw and then he drew his dagger. Moments later he thrust his dagger into my gut and then kicked me downwards, the man swam towards the surface as I sank down into the mud and sand, K saw bubbles on the surface of the water and ten looked on in horror as she saw the man's head appear above the surface.
He climbed out of the lake and reached for his second dagger and walked through the mud towards K, meanwhile at the bottom of the lake I pulled the dagger out of my gut and put my sword away. My eyes began to change colour from ice blue to a pitch black colour, my body filled with energy as thick black smoke surrounded me, on the dry land the man Kneeled over K and grabbed her the collar of her dress.
He raised his arm into the air and just as he was about to strike I burst out of the lake and flew towards the man, I grabbed him and then disarmed him before breaking his arm. I told him that he should have left K alone and now he was going to pay the price for laying a finger on her, I gripped his neck tight as the black smoke continued to surround me, I lifted him into the air in one hand and then flew a few meters upwards.
The man dangled there in my hand and then I unleashed my hidden blade and thrust it into his chest, my blade impaled his heart as I looked into his eyes. A few moments later I pulled out my hidden blade and then threw his lifeless body into the lake, my body filled with the divine powers Athena had given me when she made me a god, I flew back down and landed on the ground.
I reached out and took K's hand and helped her up off the ground, she kissed me and then Athena appeared and saw her touching me. K told Athena that the kiss was not what it appeared to be, I told Athena that K was just thanking me for saving her and then pointed towards the body in the lake, K asked Athena if she was jealous but that only made Athena angrier.
"How dare you!, goddess does not feel jealousy!!" Said Athena as she looked down at K with the fires of war burning within her eyes, I stepped between them and told them to stop. Athena told me that she had come to tell me that she had found a new home for K, somewhere far away from me, she took K's wrist and held it, I asked Athena what she was doing and she told me that she was taking K to her new home immediately.
K looked at me, soaking wet and tears dripping from her cheeks and then suddenly she and Athena had gone, I went back home to rest but all I could do was to wait for Athena to return.
November 12th...
It had been a week since what happened at the lake and I still hadn't seen or heard from Athena, then later that evening Athena had finally returned to me. She looked so beautiful as always, her long brown hair and brown eyes shimmering in the light, I kneeled before her and greeted her, she reminded me that I did not have to kneel for her anymore now I was hers, I asked her about K and she remained silent for a moment, then she told me that K was doing well at her new home, I asked Athena where her new home was but she refused to tell me.
I did not dare to ask her again but I still wanted to know where I lived, however I could do nothing but wonder and remember the times that K and I had spent together. Over the next several week's I continued to fulfill more contracts for the brotherhood but something dark had began to stir within me...
