The next day...
Rose had left her house and walked to the library to begin her research on Evelyn Grey one of Trinity Hale's founders , after Rose arrived at the library she walked towards the history section and began her search. She searched for all of the books about Trinity Hale's history and took them off the shelf and sat at the table by the window , Rose began with the first book which was titled "Trinity Hale: The Three Founder's" and flicked through the pages.
Whilst flicking through the pages she found three old sketches inside , the sketches showed each of the town's three founder's , "hmm , the first sketch is Katherine Drake , the second is Sarah Croft and the third must be Evelyn Grey" thought Rose. She looked at the sketches closely and noticed something , "hmm this sketch of Evelyn Grey looks strange" thought Rose as she looked more closely at it , the sketch of Evelyn Grey looked almost as if it were watching her somehow.
Rose felt uneasy and then closed the book , a few moments later she flicked through the pages of the next book but found nothing helpful , she went through one book after another finding nothing until she opened the last one. "Ah finally , some useful information" thought Rose as she read through the book , a line in the book said "one of our beloved founder's of Trinity Hale Evelyn Grey mysteriously vanished around May 12th 1640 , there was no trace of her to be found".
Rose continued to read on and turned the page over , "a man called Solomon Clearwater was suspected of murdering her and was put on trial and found guilty despite the lack of any evidence , a week later he was later executed". "Hmm interesting , I wonder if Solomon Clearwater's grave is also at the graveyard" thought Rose , she continued to read through the book but found a little more information , "it was believed that Evelyn Grey practiced in the occult".
"That is very interesting" said Rose as she closed the book and then put them back on the shelf , a few moments later she looked for a book with weather records. "Ah here we go , weather records for 1640" said Rose , she flicked through book until she found the date of Evelyn Grey's disappearance , "hmm there it is , May 12th 1640 , the weather was heavy fog with thunder and lightning but no rain , hmm" said Rose , she put the book back and a few minutes later she left the library.
Rose walked around the town and started asking the townsfolk some questions , she did not learn much until she bumped into a man , "sorry sir , I did not see you , my name is Rose" she said , "it is ok miss , my name is James" said the man , Rose asked him if he knew where the three founder's houses were , "yes I know where the houses are , they are near the church" he said , Rose thanked James and asked if he could show her.
"Of course , let us go there now" said James , a moment later they walked through the streets and then passed by the church , "the founder's houses are on the next street" said James. A short time later they hard arrived on a street called Trinity Road , "here we are , the houses are restored every so often so they are safe to visit" said James , "thank you" said Rose as she and James walked up to the first house , "This is was Katherine Drake's home" said James.
The house looked sturdy even though Rose could hear it creaking a little in the wind , "ok let us go inside and I will show you around" said James as he smiled at her. Rose smiled and followed him inside Katherine Drake's old home...
