As the steam train rolled across the tracks towards Blackthorn Valley the weather began to turn bad , rain began to fall hard and fast and thunder boomed as lightning flashed amongst the clouds. The rain splashed on the train carriage window as Gabriel and Rose sat beside it and talked , "we are halfway there now" said Rose , "hopefully your mother will explain things about Nyssa" said Gabriel as he placed his hand on her shoulder and smiled.
Meanwhile back in River Hollow...
Nyssa was standing in the graveyard reading a newspaper , the headline on the front page said "The Shadow Of River Hollow Strikes Again!!". Nyssa smiled and laughed a little as she read the article , "I have not finished , more people will die so very soon" said Nyssa as she talked to herself , a few moments later she went to her new hideout and prepared herself for her next night-time outing , she cleaned and sharpened her knife and then changed into her evening outfit.
Thirty minutes later...
The steam train had finally arrived at Blackthorn Valley station, Gabriel and Rose climbed off the train and walked towards the west side of the town towards her parents house. The wind howled as the rain continued to fall and the thunder and lightning boomed and flashed amongst the clouds , several minutes later they had arrived at Rose's parents house and went inside , "where are your parents?" Asked Gabriel as he looked around the hall.
"They shall be down soon" said Rose as they walked into the library , they sat down and talked for a little while as the weather continued to rage on. Rose's parents had finally come downstairs and entered the library and then sat down beside them , "what brings you here?" Asked Rose's father Daniel , "have you heard about "the shadow of River Hollow" said Rose , "yes I have heard the news recently" said her mother Talia.
"We know who the shadow is" said Gabriel , "oh is that so , who?" Asked Daniel as he looked at Rose and Gabriel , "she says you know her...her name is Nyssa" said Rose as she looked at her mother Talia. "What?!.... Nyssa is alive?" Said Talia , "who is she mother?" asked Rose as she ran her fingers through her long blonde hair , "Nyssa is...or rather was Vladimir's wife" said Talia , "who is Vladimir?" Asked Rose , "Count Vladimir Dracula was an evil man , he was a bully and abused your mother for two hundred years until I saved her from him" said Daniel.
"You never told me any if this" said Rose as she looked at her mother , "it is ok Vladimir has been dead for a long time, he can't hurt me anymore" said Talia. "So what does Nyssa want?" Asked Daniel , "I do not know but she must have found out that Vladimir is dead" said Talia , "Nyssa is insane , she has killed all those people in River Hollow for fun" said Gabriel , "hmm strange , she must be up to something but what could it be" said Talia.
"You think Nyssa is planning something?" Asked Gabriel , "she did love Vladimir once...I wonder if she..." Said Talia and then she went silent for a moment. "Wonder if she...what?" Asked Rose , "maybe Nyssa found the book of darkness" said Talia , "what book?" Asked Daniel as he looked Talia , "you must go back to River Hollow immediately and stop her" said Talia , "why?" Asked Gabriel , "if Nyssa has the book of darkness she will use it to bring Vladimir back" said Talia.
"You must go now..." Said Daniel , a few moments later Gabriel and Rose left the house and ran towards the train station as fast as they could and boarded the next train to River Hollow. As they rode the train back to River Hollow the sun had started to set and the storm grew stronger , "we must stop Nyssa or darkness will fall over River Hollow and blood will soak the streets" said Rose as the train thundered across the tracks.
Meanwhile back in River Hollow...
Nyssa had already begun to stalk the streets and claimed more victims , she collected the blood from her victims bodies and then went back to her hideout to begin the ceremony...
