Using someone else just to forget an ex is not just selfishness; it is emotional cruelty. It is breaking a whole heart just to temporarily bandage your own broken one. Imagine the heartbreak of genuinely loving someone, only to realize later that they were just using you as a replacement to heal their own wounds.
