Life

In this uneven battle between feelings and reality, the bleeding happens most within oneself. Perhaps coming to terms with unwelcome truths is what living is truly called.
Not every truth brings peace, and not every acceptance means we are healed. Sometimes, we simply learn to carry the pain and keep moving forward. ❤️‍

Adjustment is the slow quiet process of mutilating our own wings just to fit inside a cage that was never meant for us. We think we are learning how to live but we are only learning how to disappear into the machinery of a world that does not even know our name.
Adjustment should help us live, not make us disappear. Never lose yourself trying to belong somewhere you were never meant to be.

But that is the ultimate deception of the machine. It convinces us that we are adjusting just enough to live while piece by piece it extracts our substance. By the time we realize we are meant to be somewhere else we no longer have the strength to leave the courtroom.

Perhaps the saddest truth is that we often realize the cost of adjusting only after losing pieces of ourselves. But I believe it’s never too late to reclaim our freedom, rediscover who we are, and walk away from places that slowly silence our souls. Sometimes, choosing ourselves is the bravest form of survival. ❤️

We like to believe we can simply gather our scattered pieces and walk out but the gatekeeper never forces us to stay he simply waits for us to realize that the exit leads back into the same maze. Survival isn't leaving the prison it is the quiet terrifying dignity of acknowledging that the prison has become a part of who we are.

That's the frightening part—we can become so accustomed to surviving that we forget what living feels like. Maybe healing begins when we acknowledge the prison within us without surrendering the possibility of becoming someone beyond it.

Yet your words carry a rare truth. Healing cannot be an escape for the prison is built inside us it is a part of who we are. But to look at those cold walls to acknowledge them fully and yet refuse to let them consume your entire imagination that is where the struggle changes. We may be trapped yes but the moment we recognize the prison as a prison the walls begin to lose their absolute power over us. To know you are confined is the first painful breath of freedom
