As the heroes ate their meal the crew walked towards the trees to collect more wood for the fire , "this tastes good" said Hercules as he chewed on some roasted boar. Suddenly screams echoed amongst the trees , "what is happening!?" Said Odysseus as he finished his meal , another ear piercing scream echoed around them as one of the crewmen emerged from the trees.
"There is something in the tree!" Said the crewman , Odysseus , Hercules and Perseus drew their swords and followed the crewman into the trees. Screams continued to echo around them as something attacked the crewmen one by one , "can you see anything" said Perseus , "it is to dark" said Odysseus as the heroes moved slowly amongst the trees , as they walked ahead they saw a trio of blood on the grass.
"What happened here..." Said Hercules , "there is blood everywhere" said Odysseus as he gripped his sword firmly , moments later the screaming had stopped and everything became silent. "It has stopped , whatever is out here it must have killed all of our crew" said Perseus , "all the crew except for me" said the crewman standing behind them , "moments later the heroes and the last crewman heard something.
They heard something howling close by as they looked around , "AHHHH..." Screamed the last crewman as he was dragged into the shadows. "It looks like we are on our own now" said Odysseus as Hercules and Perseus stood beside him , "show yourself!" Shouted Hercules as the full moon glowed bright in the night sky , moments later the heroes heard growling sounds amongst the shadows.
"What is it , can you see anything?" Said Odysseus , a few seconds later Hercules gripped his sword firmly as he saw red eyes glowing in the darkness. "Over there" said Hercules as he pointed his sword towards the bushes , suddenly a creature burst from out of the darkness and ran towards them , "what is that thing!?" Said Perseus as the creature came towards them.
"It is a werewolf!" Said Hercules , "I thought they were just a rumour.." said Odysseus , "no they are very real" said Hercules. The heroes defended themselves as the werewolf attacked them , the werewolfs razor sharp claws clashed against their swords as it attacked in a frenzy , the werewolf swiped it's claws towards Perseus and tore his armour , "ahh...my armour" said Perseus.
The werewolf swiped at Perseus again and knocked him down onto the ground , it's sharp teeth dripping with their crews blood as it leapt towards Odysseus. "Get down!!" Said Hercules as he ran towards the werewolf , Odysseus swiftly jumped and rolled out of the way narrowly avoiding the werewolfs attack , moments later Hercules tackled the werewolf to the ground and held its arms down.
"I have it! , kill the creature" said Hercules , Odysseus thrust his sword towards the werewolf as Hercules held it still , suddenly the werewolf tried to escape from Hercules grip. "Keep it still or I'll end up killing you Hercules" said Odysseus , Hercules and the werewolf grappled on the ground as Perseus picked up his sword and then ran towards them , the werewolf swiped it's claws towards Hercules and tore his shirt into shreds.
"There is no escape beast!!" Said Hercules as he punched the werewolf in it's head , moments later Odysseus and Perseus thrust their swords down towards the werewolf. Their swords impaled the werewolf making it howl loudly , Odysseus and Perseus pulled their swords out of the werewolf and Hercules climbed off and then moved away , "it is dead" said Hercules as blood spilled across the ground.
Suddenly the werewolf opened it's eyes and leapt towards Perseus , "ahhh get it off me!!" Shouted Perseus as he tried to stop the werewolf from biting him. Hercules quickly jumped onto the werewolfs back and tried to pull it off Perseus , "it is going to kill him!" Said Odysseus , Hercules wrapped his muscular arms around the werewolfs head and neck and held tight , moments later Hercules used his superior strength and snapped the werewolfs neck.
Perseus quickly moved away from them and stood beside Odysseus as Hercules threw the body into the mud , Odysseus thrust his sword into the werewolfs body multiple times to make sure it was dead this time. "It is dead!" Said Odysseus as he pulled his sword out of the werewolfs body , "did it touch you Perseus" said Hercules , "no just ripped my armour and shirt" said Perseus.
"Good...if the werewolf had bitten or scratched you it would have made you a werewolf.." said Hercules , "let us leave this island" said Odysseus as the heroes put their swords away. A short time later they had packed up their camp and climbed aboard their ship , they slept through the night on board the ship until sunrise , Hercules pulled the anchor up as Odysseus and Perseus turned the ship around.
"It is time for me to go home my friends" said Perseus , "very well Perseus , we shall take you home" said Odysseus as Hercules sat down and helped them row the ship. They sailed onwards across the sea towards Perseus's home as the golden sunrise shine over them.
