The golden coloured sunrise shone bright and the clear blue sparkling sea brushed against the shore as Odysseus prepared to set sail on his new odyssey. "Come on Hercules , I want us to set sail before the sunrise ends" said Odysseus as he stored his belongings onto his new warship , "I am coming friend , I had to finish my breakfast first" said Hercules as he ran towards the ship.
"How much did you eat this time?" Asked Odysseus , "I did not eat that much" said Hercules as he raised an eyebrow , "oh is that so? Said Odysseus. "All I had for breakfast was....a bowl of olives , some bread , roast boar , some fruit , oh and some cheese" said Hercules , "oh is that all" said Odysseus as he smiled at Hercules and then laughed a little , Hercules sighed a little and then laughed.
"Is Perseus here yet?" Asked Hercules , "yes he is just getting the rest of the supplies for our Odyssey" said Odysseus as he stood at the front of his ship. Hercules climbed aboard the ship and sat down as Perseus started walking towards them , "I have the supplies we need Odysseus" said Perseus , "ah good the supplies should last for a while" said Odysseus as the crew sat in their seats.
"Alright everyone it's time to set sail" said Odysseus as he held onto the ships mast , a few moments later Odysseus's crew grabbed the oars and started to row. The ship began to move across the water as it sparkled in the golden light of the sunrise , the wind pushed against the sail and began to move faster across the sea at a good speed , "so where are we going first?" asked Hercules.
"We are heading to Crete first , Theseus is waiting for us there" said Odysseus , "is Theseus joining us?" Asked Perseus , "I am not sure yet but he has asked us to assist him with a problem" said Odysseus. "And what problem is that" said Hercules , "there is a beast plaguing Crete , half man and half bull , they call it the Minotaur" said Odysseus , "a beast! , I shall look forward to fighting it" said Hercules.
"We have to reach Crete first and then find Theseus" said Odysseus , "we will reach Crete soon enough Hercules do not worry" said Perseus as he smiled at him. The ship moved up and down across the sparkling clear blue sea as the waves grew a little stronger , "the wind is getting stronger" said Perseus , "it will be alright , this ship is the sturdiest ship I have ever sailed on" said Odysseus.
Thee waves continued to hit the sides of the ship as Odysseus and his friends and crew sailed onwards towards Crete , a f few hours later the island of Crete was in their sights. "Look men , Crete is just ahead of us we will be there soon" said Odysseus as he pointed towards the island.
