Uhmm... It depends on the "INTENT" ... If you're aware about its effects and if there's clarity of thoughts in your minds then you're free to do what you want ... It should just not become a habit or the source of your connection with someone...It’s not about hooking up itself, but the mindset behind it.
If someone starts treating people as easily replaceable, it can affect emotional stability and make it harder to build real connections.
But if there’s clarity and self-awareness, it doesn’t have to be harmful.
Absolutely! Physical intimacy may give you temporary pleasure but a person needs more than that in the long term... That's where deep emotional connection comes into picture ... In the long run you do need someone to understand you , to love you and to communicate with youu... And building such a relation with someone requires patience to handle someone's mood swings too...
