Good One @Somaiya Karn. When I mention good one it's not bout the post but the effort you put on to post this topic.

I feel really ashamed to go through the numbers as we all know it already these numbers were based on registered complaints. What about the unregistered and un noticed ones??

In My Opinion Condoning voilence against women will not make it go away. Often times, it only gets worse.
Each of US, irrspective of who we are be it a parent, male, female, victim should start acting against it in various ways.
The family is where it should begin :

As a Parent, Teach your boy to love and respect his peers irrespective of their gender.

Teach your girl to be strong and courageous and outspoken so she is better equipped to face the challenges ahead and to speak out when the need arises.

Love and Treat your children as equal, no gender discrimination, then they will imbibe that attitude as they grow up.

P.S : Lackadaisical attitude will only embolden the perpetrators. Support and encourage the victims instead of being judgemental.

Peace,
Atharv.
