"Ah there you are Captain Black, please sit down" said Admiral Gold, "what's going on sir?" Asked Captain Black, "we have discovered a signal coming from Mars" said Admiral Gold. "Mars?, is there a message?" Asked Captain Black, "no Captain, just a signal" said Admiral Gold, "maybe it's a distress signal?" Said Lieutenant Astra, "a distress signal?, hmm it could be..." Said Captain Fox.
"Or it could be a trap..." Said Captain Black, "it could be either of those" said Doctor Al-Ishaq, suddenly Lieutenant Petros entered the operations room. "Admiral Gold sir, the signal from Mars has changed" said Lieutenant Petros, "send it through to my computer Lieutenant" said Admiral Gold, "yes sir!" Said Lieutenant Petros, a few moments later the signal played.
"That signal almost sounds like a code.." said Lieutenant Astra, "maybe it is a distress signal after all" said Captain Fox, "hmm I don't like it, I still think it's a trap" said Captain Black. "Maybe the signal has nothing to do with the Martian Lord's" said Doctor Al-Ishaq, "that is a possibility Doctor" said Admiral Gold, "so what do we do?, do we assume it's a trap and ignore it or do we risk going to Mars to check it out?" Said Captain Fox.
"Hmm, if the signal has nothing to do with the Martian Lord's then it could be something important" said Admiral Gold as he sat down in his chair. "So what do we do?" Said Doctor Al-Ishaq, "hmm ok I'm going to send you to Mars Captain Black, I want you to investigate the signal personally" said Admiral Gold, "hmm, alright sir I'll go..." Said Captain Black reluctantly.
"Hopefully it turns out not to be a waste of time" said Captain Fox, "if it is a trap then the Martian Lord's are probably expecting me to go to Mars alone" said Captain Black. "A good thought Captain!, in that case I want Captain Fox, Doctor Al-Ishaq and Lieutenant Astra to go with you" said Admiral Gold, "alright let's suit up first and then head to the ship" said Captain Black.
Ten minutes later Captain Black and his team had put on their spacesuits and climbed aboard the spaceship, Captain Black sat in the pilot seat and strapped himself in. "Ok everyone strapped in and ready to go?" Said Captain Black, "yes" said Captain Fox, "I'm ready" said Doctor Al-Ishaq, "let's go" said Lieutenant Astra, moments later Captain Black activated the ships hypercore and then launched into the atmosphere.
Their ship passed through the atmosphere and flew towards Mars, "it will take some time before we reach Mars" said Captain Black. "Is the signal still going?" Said Captain Fox, Lieutenant Astra switched the communication channel on and the signal came through clearly, "the signal is still going" said Lieutenant Astra, "hmm..." Grumbled Captain Black, "what is it Lucius?" Said Doctor Al-Ishaq.
"If the signal isn't being sent by the Martian Lord's then what is sending it?" Said Captain Black as the ship increased a little. "I don't know, it could be anything" said Doctor Al-Ishaq, "I still feel like this is a trap Talia" said Captain Black, "it's probably nothing Lucius" said Captain Fox, "nothing?, come on James do you really think that?" Said Captain Black, "I don't know what to believe Lucius" said Captain Fox.
"What do you think Lieutenant Astra?" Asked Doctor Al-Ishaq, "I'm not sure, I suppose it could be a trap but it could also be something else" said Lieutenant Astra. Nearly three hours had passed and the ship had reached orbit around Mars, "alright team are you ready?" Said Captain Black, his team nodded in agreement and a few moments later Captain Black flew the ship through Mars's atmosphere.
A matter of minute's later the ship had landed safely on Mars, "alright everyone we are here, grab your weapons" said Captain Black as he picked up his gun. A few moments later Captain Black and his team stood by the ship door, "ok time to get going..." Said Captain Black as he opened the door, Captain Black and his team stepped outside and onto the surface and began to walk across the red sands towards the signal.
