Lieutenant Astra got into the car and called the skybase for emergency medical attention and told them to meet her near the dam. Moments later she drove through the city and towards the dam at high speed, the car left a trail of dust behind as it zoomed up the steep hill towards the canyon where Captain Black lay, within a few minutes Lieutenant Astra had reached the Captain and stopped the car.
She climbed out of the car and ran towards Captain Black and checked him out, his face and clothes covered in smoke and dust and a little burned from the explosion. Nine minutes later a helicopter arrived and landed in a clear area in the canyon, a few moments later Doctor Talia Al-Ishaq emerged from the helicopter and rushed towards Captain Black, within seconds Doctor Al-Ishaq began examining him.
"No pulse, no heartbeat, I'm sorry Lieutenant he's gone..." Said Doctor Al-Ishaq as she kneeled beside the body, then suddenly Captain Black opened his eyes and took a deep breath. "How the hell!?, he's alive!" Said Lieutenant Astra in shock, "he was dead, I'm certain of it!" Said Doctor Al-Ishaq with a look of surprise on her face, Captain Black coughed a little and then sat up.
"What happened?, the last thing I remember I was getting rid of the explosives" said Captain Black, "you saved the city" said Lieutenant Astra. "Good.." said Captain Black as he held his head, "let's get you back to skybase so I can examine you better" said Doctor Al-Ishaq, several moments later Doctor Al-Ishaq and Captain Black walked towards the helicopter, "I'll see you back at skybase" said Lieutenant Astra as she headed to her car.
One hour later...
Back on board the skybase Doctor Al-Ishaq had finished examining Captain Black, "so how am I doing Talia?" Asked Captain Black. "Apparently you are in perfect health which is strange considering that you were in an explosion that should have killed you, "this kind of thing has happened before" said Captain Black, "how many times?" Said Doctor Al-Ishaq.
"I lost count, I guess you and Astra were worried about me" said Captain Black, "yes you could say that" said Doctor Al-Ishaq. "I'm guessing Admiral Gold and Captain Fox didn't tell you that I'm indestructible?" Said Captain Black, "no they didn't, when did you realise that you were indestructible?" Asked Doctor Al-Ishaq, "I realised it after I returned here to Earth after a mission to Mars" said Captain Black.
"Hmm interesting, tell me more" said Doctor Al-Ishaq, "I don't remember much of that mission on mars, I remember having to defend myself and then there was an explosion. "So you have no idea how you became indestructible?" Said Doctor Al-Ishaq, "no but I'm sure it has something to do with the Martian Lord's..." Said Captain Black as Doctor Al-Ishaq walked towards him.
"Well you are very lucky to be alive right now Captain" said Doctor Al-Ishaq, "thanks Talia but the war between us and the Martian Lord's is far from over" said Captain Black. A few moments later Admiral Gold entered the medical bay to check on Captain Black, "how are you Captain?" Asked Admiral Gold, "I'm doing good sir, ready for my next mission" said Captain Black.
"Is that so...is he fit Doctor Al-Ishaq?" Asked Admiral Gold, "yes Admiral Gold, he can go" said Doctor Al-Ishaq, "well then let's go" said Admiral Gold. Captain Black and Admiral Gold walked through the corridors towards the operations room and talked a little, "I informed Lieutenant Astra of your condition" said Admiral Gold, "well now she knows I'm indestructible maybe she won't get worried from now on" said Captain Black.
"Hmm we'll see, good job stopping the Martian Lord's from destroying the hydroelectric dam" said Admiral Gold, "thank you sir, I did what I had to do to save the city" said Captain Black. "Well I would still like you to get some rest before the Martian Lord's decide to appear again" said Admiral Gold, "I feel fine sir" said Captain Black, "don't make me make that an order Captain" said Admiral Gold, "yes sir, I'll go get some rest" said Captain Black.
Three days later...
Captain Black and Captain Fox were being briefed about their latest mission in the operations room, "the Martian Lord's are targeting a science facility in Australia" said Admiral Gold. "Why are the Martian Lord's in Australia?" Asked Captain Fox, "the scientists there have been working on new technology that would give us infinite energy and the Martian Lord's want to stop that from happening" said Admiral Gold.
"It sounds like the Martian Lord's are afraid.." said Captain Fox, "no...they're not afraid, they're to arrogant and they think they'll destroy that technology" said Captain Black. "We'll stop them!" Said Captain Fox, "yes we will, however I have another mission for you Captain Fox" said Admiral Gold, "I want to help Captain Black" said Captain Fox, "and you will be helping him Captain Fox" said Admiral Gold.
"How?" Said Captain Fox, "there have been reports of green light's in Switzerland, I want you to go there and check things out" said Admiral Gold. "Hmm, yes sir" said Captain Fox, several minutes later Captain Fox went to the skybase runway and took a jet and flew towards Switzerland as Captain Black and Admiral Gold continued to talk, "ah there you are Doctor Al-Ishaq" said Admiral Gold.
"What do you need Admiral?" Asked Talia, "I want you to go to Australia with Captain Black and investigate the science facility there" said Admiral Gold. "Of course Admiral" said Doctor Al-Ishaq as she looked at Captain Black and smiled at him, "alright Talia let's go!" Said Captain Black, "good luck Captain and you too Doctor" said Admiral Gold as Captain Black and Talia left the operations room.
"It's going to be a long trip to Australia Talia" said Captain Black, "hopefully we can get there before the Martian Lord's do Captain" said Doctor Al-Ishaq. "You don't have to call me Captain, Talia, my name is Lucius" said Captain Black, "ok thank you Lucius" said Talia as they walked up the stairs towards the skybase runway, a few minutes later they reached the runway and then boarded a jet.
They sat down and strapped themselves in and a moment later the jet started to take off, "well then, off to Australia we go" said Captain Black as the plane flew through the sky at high speed.
