The next day, 21:04 pm...
Captain Black and Lieutenant Astra had arrived at Epheros Valley as the moon glowed bright in the clear night sky, "ok the enemy is here somewhere" said Captain Black. "Let's check the edge of the city first" said Lieutenant Astra, "no wait, they're probably at the hydroelectric dam already, we need to go there first" said Captain Black, "yes sir, let's move quickly" said Lieutenant Astra.
A moment later Captain Black and Lieutenant Astra ran through the streets of Epheros Valley towards the hydroelectric dam to the north of the city. After several minutes they had reached the canyon path and made their way up, "ugh this path is so steep" said Lieutenant Astra, "you got that right but we need to move faster" said Captain Black as they walked up the steep canyon path.
A few minutes or so later they reached the top of the path and stood there for a moment and looked at the hydroelectric dam ahead of them. "Look there!, there are green light's inside the dam!" Said Lieutenant Astra, "damn the enemy are already inside!, we need to get in there fast" said Captain Black, a moment later they ran as fast as they could towards the hydroelectric dam.
About a minute or so later they reached the entrance and then stopped and stood still, "so how are we going to do this?, go in quietly or kicking the door down?" Said Lieutenant Astra. "Hmm we don't want to spook them" said Captain Black a she grabbed the door handle, "ok sir, nice and quiet, catch them by surprise!" Said Lieutenant Astra, a moment later Captain Black slowly and quietly opened the door and then entered the dam.
Captain Black and Lieutenant Astra moved silently but quickly as they began their search for the enemy inside the Epheros Valley hydroelectric dam. Moments later they saw the green light's once more, "the green light is coming from the floor below us" whispered Lieutenant Astra, "I see that, let's move" whispered Captain Black, seconds later they reached the staircase and walked slowly downwards to the lower floor.
Meanwhile their enemy had finished planting explosives around the room as Captain Black and Lieutenant Astra reached the bottom of the staircase. "It is done, the Aether agent's cannot stop us now!" Said one of the enemy, "DON'T MOVE OR I'LL SHOOT!" shouted Captain Black, "the Aether agent's!, they've found us" said the enemy leader, "step away from the explosives!" Said Lieutenant Astra.
"You cannot stop us!, we Martian Lord's shall destroy you all!" Said the leader, "you don't have to do this, what happened on Mars was an accident!" Said Lieutenant Astra. "You came to our planet and you fired upon us and destroyed our city!" Said the leader of the Martian Lord's, "we fired in self defense after you fired that thing at us" said Captain Black.
"It was only a probe, you assumed we Martian Lord's were hostile" said the leader, "ugh they cannot be reasoned with!" Said Lieutenant Astra. "You shall pay for your mistrust and for destroying our city!" Said the leader, Captain Black and Lieutenant Astra moved slowly towards the Martian Lord's holding their guns firmly, "do not come any closer or we shall attack you!" Said the Martian Lord's leader.
A matter of seconds later all hell broke loose as the Martian Lord's and the Aether agent's opened fire.
