For days, I've been trying to find the right words for what I feel for you.
I keep thinking there must be something better than simply saying, “I love you.” Something that could explain how much you mean to me, how deeply you have become part of my life, how much I value everything we have shared.
But every sentence feels too small.
So maybe some feelings were never meant to be fully explained.
Maybe they are meant to be felt in the way you look at someone, in the way you stay when life gets difficult, in the way you keep choosing that person even after the excitement of something new has passed.
If I ever struggle to tell you what you mean to me, please don't mistake my silence for a lack of feeling.
There is so much I carry for you that I don't always know how to put into words.
I know one thing for sure.
What we have means too much to me to treat it carelessly.
I want to keep choosing you through the ordinary days, the difficult ones, the beautiful ones, and everything we haven't reached yet.
I want my love for you to be something you can feel, not something you only hear me say.
And maybe one day, when I am standing in front of you and looking directly into your eyes, I'll finally find the words I've been searching for.
Until then, “I love you” will have to carry everything I haven't learned how to say.
