Hercules walked down the hill and towards the city of Sparta , as Hercules arrived at the edge of the city two guards stood in front of him "what is your intention here" said one of the guards , "I am just visiting and passing through your city" said Hercules. "We do not allow outsiders into Sparta" said a guard , Hercules good them again that he just wanted to pass through the city peacefully , moments later the guards raised their swords , "stand back now" said a guard.
Suddenly a man arrived at the gate , "what is going on here" said the man , the guards told the man about Hercules , "ah I see , what is your name" asked the man , "my name is Hercules" he said , "ah yes I have heard stories about you , I am king of Sparta" said the man.
"It is an honour to meet you" said Hercules , "stand down guards , let him pass" said the king , Hercules and the king walked through the streets of Sparta , "welcome to Sparta Hercules , you may pass through safely" said the king as he started to walk away towards his palace.
Hercules walked through the streets of Sparta and stopped at the market to resupply , he could see Spartan warriors training in the field just outside the city. Suddenly Hercules heard people shouting from just outside the city , "Sparta is under attack" shouted the guards , Hercules drew his sword and ran towards the city gates and saw a large group of bandits attacking the guards , Hercules joined in the fight , he threw punch after punch hitting the bandit's hard and sending through the air , "haha , now this is a good fight" said Hercules and smiled.
His sword clashed against the bandits weapons and moments later Spartan reinforcements arrived , Hercules and the Spartan warriors battled the group of bandits , blood soaked the streets as the Spartan warriors slaughtered the bandit's one by one. Hercules grabbed two bandit's and lifted them into the air and then spun them around , "hahaha" laughed Hercules as threw the two bandit's into the blacksmith buildings wall , Hercules punched another bandit hard sending him into the ground and watched as a Spartan warrior thrust his spear through the bandit's chest.
An hour later... Hercules and the Spartan warriors battled the remaining bandit's until only a few remained , the last few bandit's dropped their weapons and ran away like cowards back to their hideout. The Spartan warriors dragged all the dead bodies outside to an empty field and piled them high , minutes later the Spartan warriors set the bodies alight , the fire burned bright as the sun started to set , the king stood by Hercules side and thanked him for his assistance.
"You may come to Sparta freely any time you wish , you are always welcome here" said the king , Hercules thanked the king and shook his hand , moments later...the king showed Hercules a place he could stay for the night , "you can stay here as long as you need my friend" said the king , the king went back to his palace as Hercules sat down on some soft multicoloured cushions. Hercules took some food off the table beside him and ate it as he placed his bag down and took out his water pouch , Hercules took a few sips of water and then continued to eat.
Later that evening Hercules made himself comfortable and quickly fell asleep as the moonlight shone through the windows...
