Hello and good evening everyone. Happy Independence day to all my friends and fellow zozoites as well the admins and the mods. Sorry but I am little overwhelmed with the way we achieved it. I will not start a political discussion of sorts cause I don't wanna mess up it. My point is simple, everyone remembers and maybe gets patriotic on such days but does anyone remember our unsung heroes. Does anyone remember what happened on March 23? . Does anyone know about the youngest freedom fighter an eleven year boy a boatman who was shot by the cruel English soldiers because he refused to make them cross the river. There are so many of them, Khudi ram bose, 16 years, Bhai Jatin daas 21 years, Kaveri Amma, Alluri Sita Raam Raaju , Birsa Munda and may more. My knowledge of history and thanks to an animated series called Hum Bharat hain on Netflix , I am learning about them. I make my daughter also watch it and she is also surprised that we have all these people who have never been written about. I will not mention the political historians but when I was studying history we were taught that there are two factions. Either extremists or pacifists and I was always in the favor of the former. I always respected Sh. Subhash Chandra Bose to rise up and and be the first one to take that strong step against the British empire then followed by a lot of the freedom fighters who did not take the peace route which obviously includes , Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, RaajGuru, Chandrashekhar Azaad and Sardaar Udham Singh. I don't think many people will recall him though. Anyways. Sorry I did not mean to give a history lesson of sorts. To wind it up I would like to post a song which always get's me teary eyed. God Bless!!!!!. Jai Hind.
