Habit 101 - 03

Punctuality is a habit that provides an immeasurable advantage.

Being on time is a trait of people who respect themselves and others.

If you are struggling, try to be an hour ahead of schedule; while it may sound ridiculous, an unpunctual person aiming for an hour early will likely arrive only 10 to 15 minutes ahead of time.
Get ready first, then do anything else. It is better to prioritize arriving on time over completing your entire routine, even if it means skipping a shower initially. Make punctuality your priority, as everything else is secondary.

ABSOLUTELY

Punctuality is
one of the most powerful habits for building trust, showing self-respect and respecting the time of others.

Your strategy of aiming to be an hour early is an excellent psychological trick to counter chronic lateness , ensuring you still arrive with a safe 10 to 15-minute cushion.

Prioritizing the departure time over a perfect routine is a highly practical way to break the cycle of being late.

Being early is great but one hour early means I might start questioning my entire life before everyone arrives.

Absolutely ...!!! There’s one thing that never waits for anyone is -: TIME :-

I remember a story from one of my exam days.

It was a February afternoon, and my exam was around 3 PM. I "had to report" to the centre before 2:45 PM.

I had already appeared for the morning shift and, after having lunch, thought I would take a quick 20-minute nap. I hadn’t slept the previous night because of exam pressure.

But that 20-minute nap turned into oversleeping. (◕ᴗ◕✿)

When I woke up, I was "already running late". To reach the exam centre on time, I ended up taking some risky shortcuts, including jumping a signal.

Luckily, I didn’t get into any further trouble and reached the centre at exactly 2:46 PM. Thankfully, they still allowed me to enter.

Otherwise, it could have been a disastrous situation.

**So yes, respecting time is extremely important**.
Once it passes, you can’t bring it back. ✌❤️

It's good you made it on time. Also learned a valuable life lesson.
I reach airport before time and sleep in lounge in case of early morning flights for this very reason...

I was also this person once
Always the first to reach before time and thought it gives me extra confidence
But then life happened!
I stopped worrying about being early and 'on time' is the new early for me
My priority - myself and me time

Being on time is respecting yourself. It is not about someone else. Sleeping on time, waking up on time, eating on time, reaching where you want to go in time. All these are part of punctuality so ask yourself who is the priority.
