Epic Legend
As the storm battered Blackthorn Valley Daniel and Talia brought Destiny into their home , they had sat by the fireplace and began talking as the fire burned bright. "Where have you been all of these years" said Daniel , "after I fell from the cliff I became lost at sea , after a while I was rescued by fishing ship and the captain brought me to a place called Edenvale" said Destiny , "Edenvale?! , we lived there for a time , I never saw you there" said Daniel.
"I didn't know you lived in Edenvale until recently" said Destiny , "so you were together back then?" Asked Talia as she looked at Destiny , "yes it was a long time ago , we were due to be married the week after my accident" said Destiny , "I see...." Said Talia. "SMASH"... Suddenly a piece of debris outside smashed through the window and hit Destiny , she lay there unconscious and blood dripped from her nose as the storm outside raged on.
"Is she ok?" Asked Talia as Daniel checked her injury , "her injury is severe...she will die if something is not done soon" he said , "the doctor lives on the far side of town" said Talia. "She will not make it there in time , there is only one thing I can do.." said Daniel , he turned Destiny's head to the side gently and moved a little closer , Daniel held Destiny close and then bit her neck , his fangs sank through her soft skin as he began to drain her.
A few moments later Daniel had done what he could to help and carried Destiny upstairs to a spare bedroom and placed her on the bed , "now we wait" said Daniel as Talia stood behind him , Daniel walked towards the window and looked outside , Talia walked up to him and placed her hand on his shoulder and said "I am sure she will be ok" , Daniel watched as the rain battered the rooftops and the lightning striking the ground.
The next day around 7pm....
The storm continued to rage on and on as it battered Blackthorn Valley , Daniel and Talia had left their bedroom and walked down the hall into the spare bedroom to check on Destiny. When they entered the room they saw Destiny standing by the window , "are you ok?..." Asked Daniel as he stood by the door , Destiny slowly turned around her once green eyes were now red and her skin pale white , "I feel....strong...." Said Destiny as she looked at him.
"What happened to me?" Asked Destiny , "a piece of debris smashed through the window and severely injured you" said Daniel , "you called a doctor to help me , thank you" said Destiny. "No , there was no time for a doctor , I had to help you" said Daniel , "what do you mean?" Asked Destiny as she looked at him with a look of confusion , "I...am..or rather we are vampires Destiny , I had to turn you into one of us or you would have died" said Daniel as he showed her his fangs.
Destiny walked towards him and put her hand on his cheek and said "when did you...change" she said , "nearly two years ago" said Daniel , Talia grew uncomfortable as she stood there and watched them. Daniel took Destiny's hand and held it as he looked at her then said "I like your dress" , Destiny smiled a little and then said "I have missed you..." as she caressed his cheek , "yes I had missed you as well" said Daniel , a moment later Talia interrupted them.
"We should fix the window in the living room" said Talia , a few moments later Daniel had gone downstairs and began to board up the window with some planks of wood. Meanwhile Talia and Destiny were alone together in the library , "Daniel has moved on since you saw him last" said Talia , "I see , so you are the one that turned him into a vampire , he is your...lover?" Said Destiny , Talia nodded and said "he saved me from...from a man...a monster that bullied and abused me for two hundred years".
"Yes Daniel is a kind man , he also saved me...he rescued me from a fire" said Destiny , Talia and Destiny stared at each other as they heard the rain fall hard and fast and the thunder rumbling loudly. "He is meant to be with me...not you" said Destiny , Talia began to lose her temper a little , "we had a lot of fun together , visits to the theatre...the museum...and in our bed..." Said Destiny , Talia grew jealous and angry and tackled her to the ground.
"You...whore...how dare you say that" said Talia as she grabbed her by the neck , Destiny smiled and laughed a little at her then suddenly changed her expression as Daniel walked into the room. "What is going on here , get off her" said Daniel , Talia let go of Destiny and sat down beside the bookshelf , "what happened?!" Said Daniel , "we were sitting here talking about you and then she attacked me for no reason" said Destiny with a sad expression on her face.
"Is this true?" Asked Daniel , "she provoked me" said Talia as she pointed her finger at Destiny , Daniel looked at them both deciding who to believe , "she is...mad , she even called me a whore" said Destiny. "Is that so?" Said Daniel , "she is trying to take you away from me" said Talia as Destiny smiled behind a little behind Daniel's back , "let us go somewhere else away from this.... unhinged woman" said Destiny , "you scheming whore!!" Shouted Talia as she ran towards Destiny.
"ENOUGH OF THIS!!" said Daniel as he separated them , "go now Talia" he said as he held Destiny by his side , "I am not going , choose..." Said Talia , "choose what?!" Asked Daniel. "Choose...me or her.." said Talia as she folded her arms and frowned. Daniel walked around the library and thought to himself as the storm continued to batter Blackthorn Valley , "I need to go for a walk....stay here" said Daniel , he left Talia and Destiny in the library and went outside into the storm...
