A few hours later....
Daniel and Talia had arrived back in Blackthorn Valley and left the train station behind them as they walked through the streets and headed home , they had arrived home just in time before the sunrise. Daniel and Talia quickly walked up the stairs and to their bedroom and closed the curtains , they undressed themselves and climbed into their large four poster bed and closed their eyes , a few moments later they had fallen asleep just as the sun started to rise above the horizon.
Twelve hours later...
It was around four thirty in the afternoon and the sun had started to set , Daniel and Talia had awoken and dressed themselves then opened the curtains. "How did you sleep?" Asked Daniel , "I slept well , the nightmares have stopped and I have not had any hallucinations since we were at my old home" said Talia , "I'm glad to hear that" said Daniel as he placed his hand on her cheek , a few minutes later they left their bedroom and walked down the stairs towards the kitchen.
"What shall we do tonight" said Daniel as Talia put her necklace on , "hmm , I would to take a walk around the town" said Talia , Daniel smiled at her and a few moments later they left the house. The moonlight shone bright in the clear night sky as a gentle breeze blew and bats flew through the air and into the darkness , Daniel and Talia walked through the streets until they reached the park and sat down on a bench , as they sat there Daniel looked at her , Talia's pale white skin glimmered a little in the moonlight.
Her long black and red dress moved a little as the wind flowed around her , "you look so beautiful Talia" said Daniel as he placed his arm around her and held her close. Talia placed her hand on his cheek and gazed into his eyes as the leaves fell from the trees and floated through the air , they sat there for a little while as they enjoyed the peace and quiet , "it is so peaceful here" she said as a couple of furry badger's emerged from behind the bushes.
Daniel and Talia watched the badger's as they sniffed at the ground as they searched for food , a few moments later one of the badger's had found a piece of fruit on the ground and picked it up. The other badger began to chase it and tried to steal the fruit , Daniel and Talia continued to watch as the two badger's rolled around on the grass fighting over the fruit , a moment later the smaller badger emerged victorious and picked up the fruit.
As Daniel and Talia stood up the two badger's became startled and ran away back into the darkness behind the bushes , "those little badger's were fun to watch" said Talia as she and Daniel walked through the park. They walked onwards for a several minutes or so until they found themselves at the other side of Blackthorn Valley , Daniel and Talia held each others hands as they walked down the smallest street in Blackthorn Valley called Nevermore Street.
They walked a little further and entered the cemetery , "we must keep our distance from the church , we vampires cannot go near them" said Talia. A moment later as they turned around the path away from the church they heard the sounds of frogs coming from the large pond close by , suddenly "THUD!" ... something had hit the ground hard beside them , "what was that?" Said Talia as she and Daniel looked around , "look there , it was just a tree branch" said Daniel.
"How did a tree branch that large fall?" Said Talia , "hmm the tree it fell from looks very old" said Daniel , a few moments later Daniel and Talia walked through the cemetery towards the side exit and walked towards the edge of the town. The edge of town was as silent as a mouse as they walked onwards , "where are the people that live around this part of town" said Talia , "hmm they are either sleeping or at the pub in the centre of the town" said Daniel.
Suddenly they heard a noise coming from the shadows as they walked through an alleyway between the oldest houses in Blackthorn Valley , Daniel and Talia stopped for a moment and looked around but saw nothing there. "It may have just been the wind" said Daniel as the walked slowly through the alleyways , then suddenly they heard the noise again , they stopped and turned around , "who is there? , show yourself" said Daniel as the sound came closer and closer towards them...
