Candlelight lighting up the darkness
Doors and floor's creaking
Thunder rumbling and wind howling
A ghostly figure staring blankly with hollow eyes
Window's enveloped in frost and ice
All consuming fear and dread within
Glass shattered by ethereal screeching
No place to run and nowhere to hide
Heart pounding hard and pulse racing
Trapped, screams echoing in the night
Blood dripping down the wall's
Soul and final breath taken, claimed by death
