One hour later after they had left Yzmara...
Venizia and Azryn walked through the meadow towards the west , "look over there it is Elepheron" said Venizia as she pointed ahead. "What happened here?" Said Azryn as they walked through the blackened fields towards the town , a few minutes later they had arrived at Elepheron and stood at the entrance , "there are bodies everywhere" said Venizia as she looked around her.
"Whoever attacked Elepheron had powerful weapons" said Azryn as they entered the town , they walked through the charred and rubble filled streets and looked around. "Why did we come here?" Asked Venizia as they walked onwards through the ash and smoke , "a friend was holding onto something for me" said Azryn , moments later Azryn stopped and stood still.
"This is my friend's house or at least what is left of it" he said , "the house looks like it may collapse any moment" said Venizia. "Wait here while I search the house" said Azryn , Venizia nodded and moved back a little as Azryn walked into the house and began his search , a few moments later he had found what he had been looking for and made his way out of the house.
Suddenly the house began to creak as bricks shifted a little , "get out quickly it is going to collapse!" Said Venizia , Azryn moved fast towards the door and then jumped out. A second later the house had collapsed into a pile of rubble , "I got what I wanted" said Azryn as he opened the metal box he had found , moments later he took a strange looking object out of the box.
"What is that?" Asked Venizia as she looked at the strange object , "it is a Pharos crystal , it absorbs darkness and converts it into light" said Azryn. "Like a torch?" Said Venizia , "yes but more powerful" said Azryn as he put the crystal into his pocket , "ok let us leave Elepheron and continue on our journey" said Azryn as the started walking through the ash and rubble filled streets.
As they walked through the ruins of Elepheron and around the dead bodies they suddenly heard a noise , "what was that!?" Said Venizia. Azryn drew his hex blade and looked around , "I know that sound...." He said as Venizia drew her crystal lightsword , "what is it?" Said Venizia , moments later a dragon crashed into the ground in front of them , "get out of the way!!" Said Azryn.
Azryn and Venizia quickly moved away and watched as the dragon got up onto it's feet , the dragon roared loudly and fired a powerful blast of blue flames towards the sky. The dragon's black skin shimmered in the light as it continued to unleash it's blue flames , suddenly another dragon appeared and tore through the sky dodging the blue flames , "dragon's!! , I thought they died in the winter war a hundred years ago!?" Said Venizia.
"Apparently not" said Azryn as the second dragon flew towards the black dragon , moments later the second dragon fired a blast of purple flames as it's white scales reflected the light , the blue and purple flames collided and created a shower of ember's over Elepheron , "hmm the white dragon seems strange somehow" said Venizia , "his so?" Asked Azryn , "it is almost as if someone is controlling it" said Venizia.
A few minutes later Azryn saw a hooded man standing in the shadows amongst the ruins holding a sceptre , "look there , he must be controlling the white dragon!" Said Azryn. "Then we must stop him , nobody has the right to control dragon's!" Said Venizia as she and Azryn moved closer towards the man , moments later Venizia and Azryn had sneaked behind the man and prepared to capture him.
The hooded man suddenly turned around and said , "do not try anything stupid or I shall have the white dragon burn you into ash and bones!" Said the man as he pointed his dragon sceptre towards them. The man's eyes glowed purple as he wielded his dragon sceptre and commanded the white dragon to continue attacking the black dragon , "do not interfere or I shall be forced to kill you now" said the man.
Venizia and Azryn could do nothing but wait until the right moment presented itself to them...
