The next morning...
Venizia and Azryn had said their goodbyes to Lina before leaving the inn and left Kastellia City behind them , Venizia and Azryn followed the path beside the coast and travelled onwards towards the north. "So where are we heading to?" Asked Venizia as the golden sunlight shone across the land , "hmm I think we shall head to Vanyria next" said Azryn , they walked for nearly an hour and finally saw Vanyria in the distance.
"How long will it take to reach Vanyria?" Asked Venizia , "it will not take to long but we will have to walk through the swamp over there swamp" said Azryn. A few minutes later Venizia and Azryn entered the swamp as they continued on their way towards Vanyria , "ugh I stepped in some kind of sticky green fluid" said Venizia , "do not worry the grass will clean that off" said Azryn as they walked onwards through the swamp.
Ten minutes later the exit was in their sight as they walked through the mud and shallow water , "I am glad I am not wearing my dress" said Venizia. "We are almost at the exit" said Azryn , a few minutes later they had finally reached the exit and left the swamp , "look at that! , the twin towers of Vanyria" said Azryn as they stood still for a moment , the twin towers of Vanyria glimmered in the morning sunlight.
Venizia and Azryn walked onwards towards Vanyria as fast as they could as the gentle breeze blew around them , a few minutes later they had finally arrived Vanyria. The twin towers stood tall casting a shadow over the town , the house's were made from marble and gold and glimmered a little in the light , the multicoloured flags attached to the buildings swayed in the wind as music filled the streets.
"Vanyria is known for its beautiful art" said Azryn as he and Venizia walked around , "look there a statue of Tsamshir!" Said Venizia as she pointed towards the center of the town. "Who is Tsamshir?" asked Azryn , "he was a legendary warrior that lived a hundred years ago , he slayed the last Valkyria!" Said Venizia , "what is a Valkyria?" Asked Azryn as he ran his fingers through his hair.
"The Valkyria was a creature with the wings and claws of an eagle and a human body" said Venizia as she looked at the statue of Tsamshir. Moments later something had blocked out the sun , "why has it gone so dark?" Said Venizia , Azryn placed his hand on her shoulder and pointed towards the sky then said "there is an eclipse , look up" , Venizia looked up ane saw the eclipse.
"An eclipse! , that is fortunate" said Venizia , "why is that?" Asked Azryn , "this plaque beside the statue says that the statue of Tsamshir will illuminate during an eclipse" said Venizia. "How?" Said Azryn , "the plaque says the statue is made from galaxticite , a rare metal only found in the caves nearby" said Vanyria , moments later the statue of Tsamshir began to glow a golden colour as the eclipse reached it's peak.
Venizia and Azryn stood and watched the golden glow of the statue until the eclipse faded away , "that was beautiful!" Said Venizia as she shed a tear of happiness. A few moments later they continued to explore Vanyria as the sun shone over the town once again , "we should get some supplies" said Azryn , Venizia agreed and a moment later they walked towards the market beside the small lake.
The small lake shimmered beneath the sunlight as Azryn and Venizia bought some supplies , music continued to fill the streets as the artist's painted and created sculptures. "That is everything we need , time for us to move on" said Azryn , a few minutes later Venizia and Azryn left Vanyria and travelled onwards towards the northwest , the weather became colder as they got closer to the northwest of the land.
AS they travelled towards the mountains ahead of them snow began to fall thick and fast , "I think a storm is coming , we must find shelter soon" said Azryn. The wind grew colder minute by minute as the snow fell faster , "I can hardly see a thing in front of me" said Venizia as they walked through the freezing cold snow , "look I think I see a cabin just over there by ridge" said Azryn.
The freezing cold wind blew stronger and faster as they walked towards the cabin , a few minutes later they entered the cabin and closed the door. "I cannot see a thing out there" said Azryn as he looked through the window , the weather had turned into a blizzard and nothing was visible , "the weather is very bad if it does not calm soon we may be trapped in here" said Venizia as Azryn lit a fire in the fireplace.
A few moments later they sat in front of the fireplace and felt the warmth against their skin , they took off their damp clothes and placed them on a rack beside the fireplace to dry off. "Ah my shoulder hurts" said Azryn , "oh what is wrong?" Asked Venizia , "it is an old injury I have from fighting a Zerosian moonbear" said Azryn as he reached into his bag and took out some oil...
