(Story contains some horror and gore)
The grimthorn came closer towards Venizia , Azryn , Eliana and Uras as blood continued to drip from its razor sharp teeth. The red lights flickered as the alarm echoed through the sanctuary , "it's going to kill us!" whispered Uras , "just do not move and it won't see you" said Eliana , suddenly Uras ran towards the elevator , "Venizia , Azryn don't move!" whispered Eliana.
The grimthorn growled and chased after Uras as the lights continued to flicker , Uras pressed the elevator buttons frantically as he tried to escape. Azryn slowly reached for his yes rifle and then held it in his hands , "no! , the grimthorn may be dangerous but it is still an endangered creature , we must stun and trap it" whispered Eliana , "what do you suggest we do!?" Said Venizia.
"If I could just reach the cabinet over there , it has the equipment I need inside it" whispered Eliana , "I shall get it" whispered Azryn as the grimthorn backed Uras into a corner. Azryn quickly and silently moved like an assassin towards the cabinet , a few moments later he opened the cabinet and took out a small electrical device and a voltgun , he quickly moved back towards Eliana and handed her the equipment.
Suddenly Uras's screams filled the dark sanctuary as the grimthorn attacked him , the grimthorn's teeth shredding Uras's clothes and slicing through his flesh. Blood splattered across the walls as the grimthorn tore Uras apart , a pool of blood flowed across the floor as the grimthorn tore his organ's out , Eliana turned the voltgun on and aimed it at the grimthorn and handed Azryn the small electrical device.
"What is this?" whispered Azryn , "it is a electranet" whispered Eliana , moments later the sound of the humming voltgun attracted the grimthorn's attention. The grimthorn looked towards the direction to where Venizia , Azryn and Eliana were standing and growled loudly , suddenly the grimthorn ran towards them , it's face covered in Uras's blood as it leapt towards them.
Eliana fired the voltgun and a strong electrical beam hit the grimthorn hard stunning it , the grimthorn fell to the floor but continued to move. "Shoot it again!" Said Venizia , Eliana fired another electrical beam and hit the grimthorn again , "Azryn throw the device at it!" Said Eliana as she fired a third electrical beam at the grimthorn , Azryn threw the small device at the grimthorn and a moment later it activated.
A large web of electrical netting burst out of the small device and trapped the grimthorn , the red lights had suddenly stopped flickering and a team of Eliana's guards rushed through the broken door. "Contain the grimthorn now" said Eliana , the sanctuary guard's contained the grimthorn and took it away to a temporary enclosure until the grimthorn's enclosure could be fixed.
"I am sorry about Uras" said Venizia as the medical team took Uras's body away , Eliana thanked Venizia and put the voltgun back into the cabinet. "Let us go back up to the higher levels" said Eliana , a few minutes later Venizia, Azryn and Eliana had arrived at the higher level of the sanctuary and exited the elevator , "I must go and complete a report of the incident" said Eliana.
A few moments later Venizia and Azryn said goodbye to Eliana and continued to explore the rest of the sanctuary , they walked towards the west side of the room and sat down on a bench beside a pond. "The Alurian necrobirds flew past them once again as they relaxed for a moment and watched the purple coloured frog's swimming in the pond , "what kinds of frog are those?" Said Azryn.
"The sign says they are Bopheman frog's" said Venizia , "look up there in the small tree" said Azryn , "what is that!" Said Venizia. "It is a Kosmistarian phoenix , I have seen that in the book I have!" Said Azryn as he looked at the Kosmistarian phoenix , it's black feathers were surrounded by blue flames and it's blue eyes shimmering in the light as it sat in the tree and looked at Venizia and Azryn.
"It is getting late we should head back to the inn" said Azryn , Venizia agreed and a few minutes later they left the sanctuary and walked through the streets towards the inn. The streets were still full of citizens and visitors shopping for food and trinkets as the sun began to set , five minutes later Azryn and Venizia had arrived at the inn and asked for some food and drink.
A short time later back in their room Venizia and Azryn were sat by the table eating their meal , "this Kosmistarian grilled lamb tastes so good" said Azryn as Venizia drank a little ariaberry wine. Fifteen minutes later they had finished their meal and began eating their desserts , "what did you get for dessert?" Asked Azryn , "I have melodyberry pie" said Venizia as Azryn drank his Alurian orange juice.
Half an hour later...
Venizia and Azryn decided to have an early night and took their clothes off and then climbed into their big soft bed , they watched as the moon shone bright through window and then slowly drifted off to sleep.
