Athena sailed her boat across the strong waves as she sailed onwards towards the island, as she approached the island it started to become darker. The fog so thick around the island that it blocked out the sunlight, Athena had finally reached the shore and anchored the boat, a few moments later Athena walked onto the beach and across the sand towards the tree's.
As she walked into the dark woods the wind suddenly stopped, the dark woods became silent for a moment as Athena walked slowly. The sound of cicada's and frog's filled the air around the dark woods, several minutes later a strange green coloured light appeared and floated amongst the darkness and fog, Athena drew her sword and continued to walk onwards through the dark woods.
She followed the floating green light deeper and deeper into the dark fog filled woods, a short time later Athena could hear the sound of water crashing nearby. A few minutes later she had followed the floating green light and found herself standing in front of a waterfall, suddenly the floating green light vanished, Athena looked at the waterfall and grabbed her shield.
The waterfall began to turn into a blood red colour and strange sound's started to fill the air, suddenly a figure appeared in front of her. It was Odysseus!, "Odysseus!" Said Athena as she looked at him, then suddenly she realised something wasn't right, Odysseus's body was completely see through like a ghost, he reached his arm out towards her and spoke, "help...me..."said Odysseus in a ghostly voice.
Then a few moments later he faded away, "It must have been my imagination...or something worse.."thought Athena, a minute later Athena continued onwards through the dark fog filled woods. Ten minutes later she began to hear voices whispering all around her, the voices whispered to her warning her to leave, Athena was unafraid and continued onwards until she discovered an old building ahead of her.
Athena walked ahead slowly and cautiously as the voices continued to whisper all around her, then suddenly the floating green light had reappeared in front of her and glowed brightly. The floating green light began to transform and several moments later the light had gone and a woman stood in front of her, "who are you?" Asked Athena, "I am Aphelia" said the woman.
Her long black hair flowed as the wind began to blow a little stronger and her eye glowed green in the darkness, Aphelia stood there in silence for a moment. Her long black dress as black as night as she held a golden staff, "why have you come here?" Asked Aphelia, "I am looking for Odysseus" said Athena as she gripped her sword firmly, "what does he look like?" Asked Aphelia.
Athena gave her a description of him and wait d for her answer, "I have seen this man called Odysseus, he was taken to the caves of dread" said Aphelia. "Where is that?" Asked Athena, "it is that way, it is not far" said Aphelia as she pointed towards the east, "thank you Aphelia" said Athena, "I shall come with you, it is dangerous there" said Aphelia, "Very well, let us go there now" said Athena.
Twelve minutes later Athena and Aphelia had reached the edge of the dark woods and saw a small canyon in front of them. "There it is, the cave of dread" said Aphelia as she pointed down, "I hope we are not to late to save Odysseus" said Athena, a few moments later Athena and Aphelia made their way towards the cave of dread, they moved swiftly and took cover behind a few larger rocks and looked around.
"No guard's.." whispered Athena, "the cave of dread has no guard's outside, there are much worse things dwelling inside there" said Aphelia. "Let us enter, I shall do whatever it takes to save Odysseus from whatever or whoever lies inside the cave!" Said Athena quietly.
