The next morning...
Athena had left Olympus and returned to the swamp to continue her journey, as she walked through the swamp Athena began thinking about Odysseus. "I wonder where Odysseus is, I hope he is safe" thought Athena, fifteen minutes later she had reached the edge of the swamp and stood there for a moment, "hmm, Megaris is southwest from here" thought Athena.
A few moments later she left the swamp and travelled onwards to the southwest, the sun shone bright in the clear blue sky as birds flew overhead. A short time later Athena looked ahead and saw a sign between three paths, a few moments later she stood in front of the sign and read it, the sign showed three directions, the path to the south led to Sparta and the path to the northeast led to the village she had been to the day before.
The path to the southwest led to Megaris, "I must go down this path, I shall need to walk faster" said Athena, a few moments later Athena followed the path leading to Megaris and walked faster. An hour's walk later and Athena could see the town of Megaris in the distance, "I shall reach Megaris soon" thought Athena was she continued to walk onwards down a small hill.
Ten minutes later Athena had finally reached Megaris, the streets were full of people buying items from the market as a gentle breeze blew. The smell of flowers filled the air as Athena walked into the town, she walked through the streets of Megaris and headed towards the docks, a few minutes later she began to ask people if they had seen Odysseus, nobody had seen Odysseus and Athena became concerned.
"I hear you are looking for a man named Odysseus" said a man that was standing behind her. "You have!?, when did you see him?" Asked Athena. "Hmm about a week ago, I found him laying on the beach" said the man, "was he injured?" Asked Athena, "no but my wife and I let him stay for the night at our home" said the man, "is he still here?" Asked Athena, "no he left the next morning" said the man.
"Do you know where he went?" Asked Athena, "he said something about a temple in Athens" said the man, "Athens!, then I shall go there next" said Athena. A moment later she thanked the man and walked towards the beach, a few minutes later she stood on the beach and closed her eyes, she felt the warmth of the sun and the wind brush against her soft skin as the sea shimmered.
Moments later Athena transported herself to Athens, seconds later she had arrived in Athens and stood beside the fountain in the center of the market. "Odysseus may be here.." thought Athena, then suddenly she remembered something Apollo had said, "Apollo said Odysseus is someplace where us god's cannot see, I shall ask if any of the citizens have seen him!" said Athena.
