As Athena and Odysseus sailed across the sea towards their next destination they could her sounds coming closer and closer towards their ship. "What is that sound" said Odysseus , "look up there , it is the Stymphalian birds" said Athena , "what are those?" Asked Odysseus as they came closer , "the Stymphalian birds have several steel feathers that they use as weapon's" said Athena as Odysseus steered the ship away from them.
A few moments later the Stymphalian birds attacked and began to fire their steel feathers at their ship , "take cover and sail onwards" said Athena. A hail of steel feathers hit their ship , some of the steel feathers cut straight through the ships sail damaging it , "they have damaged the sail" said Odysseus as he steered the ship , a few moments later another group of Stymphalian birds had appeared behind them and attacked.
"There are to many of these birds" said Odysseus as he lost control of the steering , the sail was wrecked and the ship was now stuck on the calm sea. Odysseus drew his sword and defended himself as Athena began to use her power's , Odysseus thrust and slashed his sword at the birds and landed a few deadly blows on some of the Stymphalian birds , "come her my love" said Athena , Odysseus rushed towards Athena and stood behind her.
As Odysseus and Athena stood back to back the birds attacks became fiercer , a few moments later Athena created an energy shield around Odysseus and herself. The bird's attacked the energy shield but the attacks had no effect , suddenly Athena unleashed an almighty blast of energy , the energy blast passed through her energy shield and hit the Stymphalian birds , the birds screeched and then retreated back to their nest atop the cliff's.
Athena's energy shield faded away and Odysseus went back to try and steer the ship , Athena used her divine power's and repaired the ships sail. The ship began to move across the sea once more as the wind hit the sail , "let us sail onwards towards" said Athena as she smiled at Odysseus , an hour later as they sailed onwards the waves became a little stronger , "there is land ahead of us" said Odysseus , "take us to the island my love , I want to explore it" said Athena.
A short time later they had arrived at the shore and anchored their ship , they climbed down from their ship and walked onto the beach , "let us see what awaits us on this island" said Athena as she and Odysseus began to walk across the beach towards the forest...
