The god's and goddess's of Olympus sat around the large marble table and looked at all the delicious food in front of them. There on the table was bowls of fruit and olives, plates of grilled fish, roasted lamb, boar and cheese with loaves of bread beside them, "let us begin the feast!" Said Zeus as he lifted his golden goblet of wine, moments later the god's and goddess's of Olympus began to eat.
Aphrodite and Ares sat beside one another and, Aphrodite smiled at him a little trying to hide her feelings for him as Ares sank his teeth into a piece of roast boar. The other god's and goddess's all knew Aphrodite liked Ares but said nothing, Hermes told some jokes making the others laugh and then grinned at Apollo, Hermes always liked to tease Apollo making him lose his temper every so often.
Apollo was slow to anger but somehow Hermes could bring him to anger easily, "do not annoy me Hermes.." said Apollo as he squinted his eyes and picked up a goblet of wine. "I did not even do anything...yet.." said Hermes as he smiled mischievously, "now come on Hermes, let us enjoy the feast" said Apollo's twin sister Artemis, "hmm very well, I shall behave..for now.." said Hermes as looked at Apollo then took a bite out of some roast lamb.
"Did you find Hercules and Odysseus Apollo?" Athena asked as she reached for some olive's, "I have some news, I did find Hercules, he is with friends in Olympia" said Apollo. "And what of Odysseus, did you find him?" Athena asked, "I could not find him" said Apollo, "hmm strange, no one can be beyond the sight of us god's" said Athena, "yes I know, wherever Odysseus is it must be a protected place" said Apollo.
Athena ate a few olive's as Apollo drank a little more wine, "where did you see Odysseus last?" Apollo asked, "hmm I last saw him approaching the shores of Megaris" said Athena. "You should begin your search on Megaris and see if the mortals have seen him" said Apollo, "hmm I shall, but for now let us continue the feast" said Athena, a few moments later the god's and goddess's of Olympus began to stare at Dionysus.
Dionysus drank goblet after goblet of wine as he leaned back on his seat, "are you going to drink all of our wine?" Said Hera with a look of annoyance on her face. "Maybe I shall..." Said Dionysus as he grinned at Hera and picked up another goblet of wine, a while later the feast had ended and the god's and goddess's of Olympus went to the hall, marble pillar's and statues stood around the hall.
"Now we shall we play some games" said Zeus, "yes let us play!" Said Hephaestus, Athena and the other god's and goddess's of Olympus stood around a large rectangular bowl full of clear blue shimmering water. "Let the game's begin!" Said Zeus as he moved his hand across the water in the bowl.
