Athena continued her journey but this time with Odysseus by her side, they walked past an olive tree orchard and through the field's as they headed north towards the mountains. As they came closer and closer towards the mountains the weather started to become colder, "let us move faster" said Odysseus, a moment later Odysseus and Athena began to walk faster as the wind grew stronger.
They walked along a path leading toward the ridge and followed it, "brr it is getting colder" said Odysseus as he and Athena walked onwards across the ridge. Athena used her power's and a thick wool blanket appeared in her hands, "take this, it shall keep you warm my love" said Athena as she handed Odysseus the blanket, Odysseus wrapped the blanket around him and began to feel a little warmer.
"Ahh that is better" said Odysseus as they continued to walk across the ridge, several minutes later they hard reached a dead end. "Hmm it seems we cannot go any further.." said Athena, "hmm, strange..then why is there a path leading up here?" Wondered Odysseus, moments later a burst of orange light flashed in front of them and a man appeared, "hello again!" Said the man.
"Apollo, what are you doing here?" Asked Athena, "I see you have found Odysseus!" Said Apollo" "yes I saved him from Ares, he was imprisoned in the cave of dread" said Athena, "hmm, well i am here to tell you that things are not as they appear to be" said Apollo, "What does that mean?" Asked Odysseus as he tried to keep warm in the cold weather, "there is an invisible gateway here, it is not a dead end" said Apollo.
Athena looked closely at the dead end and saw something shimmer a little in front of her, "I see it, there is a gateway here, where does it lead to?" Asked Athena, "as long as it is warmer on the other side I do not care" said Odysseus. "Let us find out together!" Said Apollo, a few moments later Athena, Odysseus and Apollo stepped through the gateway, within seconds they had reappeared on the other side of the gateway.
"what is this place?" Said Odysseus as he looked around, "hmm I do not know.." said Apollo, there in front of them was a city within an enormous glass dome. The red grass around them was lush and thick, snow-capped mountains stood tall in the distance, trees with silver leaves shimmered beneath the two sun's, "two sun's!?, this is not our world" said Apollo as strange creatures passed by them.
Suddenly the gateway flickered, "I think we should leave this place before the gateway vanishes" said Odysseus, "I would like to see more of this world" said Apollo, "If we do not leave now we may become stuck here" said Athena. Odysseus Athena and Apollo walked towards the gateway then just as they were about to go back to their own world the gateway flashed then disappeared.
"Oh no...it is to late" said Odysseus, "we must look around and search for another gateway!" Said Athena, a few minutes later Athena, Odysseus and Apollo walked through the thick red grass and walked towards the city.
