Odysseus travelled for hours through the hot desert until he finally reached an oasis, as he was about to sit in the shade Odysseus took out the orb and asked the gods for help , "I'm lost in this desert , help me" he said, suddenly a face appeared in the glowing orb..it was Athena, "travel north from here and follow the wind then you will find a safe place to rest" said Athena. "Thank you" he said and then Odysseus started heading north following the wind until finally he arrived at some ruins, he set up camp in a small cave next to the ruins and fell asleep. There was a noise outside in the ruins and suddenly Odysseus woke up startled and drew his sword, he silently walked over to the ruins and found a beast that was half man and bull , "a Minotaur" whispered Odysseus. Odysseus stumbled a little then the Minotaur swiftly turned around and charged at Odysseus , he narrowly dodged the beast but the Minotaur was fast and charged again, this time the beasts horns locked with Odysseus's sword, Odysseus and the Minotaur wrestled back and forth, Odysseus dropped to his knees and rolled through the Minotaur's legs and cut one of its hands off , the beast roared in agony then charged at Odysseus in full rage , Odysseus went flying through air and landed on the ground, he reached for his sword as the Minotaur charged again. The Minotaur about to impale him with it's horns , Odysseus reached his sword and swiftly rolled out of the way and thrust his sword cleanly through the beast, as the Minotaur fell to it's knees, it's blood dripping from the sword as Odysseus pulled it out , Odysseus sat down and watched the beast breathe it's last breath. Suddenly a burst of red and white light flashed in front of him , it was Athena and Artemis, "well done on your victory" they said, the goddess's took him back to his ship and crew. "You're next adventure awaits you" said Artemis , "sail east for two days and you will find the entrance to the underworld" said Athena. Odysseus and his crew sailed away in the direction Athena had given them, after two days they arrived a mountainous island and sailed inside, the light grew darker as they went deeper inside and past the gate of the underworld, "welcome to my domain" said a familiar voice, "you will not be leaving alive" said the voice.
