Continuing his journey Odysseus wandered further into the mountains, after a few hours he reached an open area where he was surrounded waterfalls with rainbows beaming over them,. Odysseus looked down at the ground and noticed a strange black fluid bubbling in front of him, then suddenly a pair of red glowing eyes appeared and a figure started to emerge from the black fluid, he backed away slowly and a tall man appeared, he had large muscles and long dark hair draped across his face , his glowing red eyes peeking out from behind his hair as the black fluid dripped off his chiseled body. The figure gripped his sceptre tightly and said in a booming eerie voice "I am Hades" he said. "Danger lies ahead , there's a Gorgon that lives just beyond the ridge in the temple of Apollo" said Hades , "the shield you were gifted will help you survive , you will know what to do when the time comes" said Hades. Hades waves his sceptre and suddenly blue flames blasted out of the ground surrounding him and just like that he had gone back to the underworld , Odysseus kept going for hours and finally passes the ridge and silently moves in closer to the temple of Apollo keeping his cool , Odysseus sneaks into the temple and hears the sound of snakes hissing around him , "I know you're here hero , I am Linea" she said as Odysseus silently moves closer "come closer I want to look at you" said Linea. Odysseus stumbled and Linda burst out of the shadows and attacked, Odysseus avoiding looking into her eyes knowing she would turn him to stone , Linea attacked again, her scaly tail just missing him as Odysseus threw his shield at her then rolled behind her....To be continued soon in part 4
