Ans the Riddle . Its tough one

A father and son are in a car crash. The father dies. The son is rushed to the hospital. The surgeon looks at the boy and says, "I can't operate on him—he's my son."

How is that possible?
 
A man lives on the 20th floor of a building. Every morning he takes the elevator down to the ground floor. When he comes home, he takes the elevator to the 10th floor and walks the remaining 10 floors up the stairs. Why?

The surgeon was the boy's mother! (Or his other father, in the case of same-sex parents).
