Angel ❤️

MrDreamy

Favoured Frenzy

You came into my life on 19 November 2011, and for almost fifteen years, you filled it with love, laughter, and endless mischief.

You celebrated your 15th birthday on 16 October 2026. Just six days later, today on 22 October, you left me.

As a puppy, you were a little troublemaker. Handkerchiefs and socks were never safe around you, and if left alone, you sometimes scratched the wallpaper too! But one look at your innocent eyes, and staying angry with you became impossible. After a tiring day at work, you would jump on me, climb up, and sometimes even settle on my shoulders.
You had your own special ways of welcoming me home and making everything feel better.
You were never fond of sleeping on the floor. First, you claimed the bed, then the couch, always searching for the most comfortable spot. But your favourite place was always my place.

As you grew older, age gradually slowed you down. After your fourteenth birthday, the tumours and pain began taking their toll. You stopped jumping onto the couch, and for the last ten months, you could no longer step outside. By the end of September, even walking had become impossible.
All I wanted was for you to be free of pain. It was difficult to see my once-playful Angel grow so weak, but I knew that your comfort mattered more than my wish to keep you here.
Wherever you are now, I hope you are running around with those strong little legs again, jumping onto couches, and finding the softest pillows to sleep on.

I wish I could hear your little footsteps and watch you run towards me one more time. But the memory I will hold closest to my heart is one of our simplest everyday moments.

Every morning, as soon as I got out of bed, you would jump into my place, rest your head on my pillow, and fall asleep like a little child.
I can still picture you there, occupying my spot as if it had always belonged to you.

Goodnight, my little Angel. Sleep peacefully on your favourite pillow. This time, I won't ask you to move. ❤️

Your Angel may be gone from your sight, but never from your heart. The love you shared is forever, and may your beautiful memories bring you comfort. Rest peacefully, sweet Angel. :heart1:

Almost fifteen years of love, and a lifetime of memories to hold on to.
