We often say memories are treasures, but nobody talks about the days when they feel like burdens.

This poem captures that side perfectly,the desire to forget not because the love wasn't real, but because the distance and loneliness have become too heavy to carry.

Beautifully written, though the pain is incredibly intense. Memories really do feel like an octopus sometimes, completely suffocating us. Take care of yourself.
