And leave my oldest wishes in the grave.
My hands are empty, reaching for the air,
Releasing every dream I used to care.
My life has been an act of letting go,
A quiet, steady, devastating flow.
The heaviest step is learning to survive,

Letting go doesn't mean forgetting or stopping caring. Sometimes it simply means accepting what we cannot change and choosing peace over the pain of holding on. Some things can remain meaningful even after we learn to release them. ​

Absolutely. Sometimes moving on isn't about giving up; it's about accepting that not everything we hold onto is meant to stay.

Knowing when to release something can be just as important as knowing what to pursue. ​
