Every morning, Rahul's phone was full of messages.
- One friend needed advice,
- another needed help with work, and
- someone else wanted him to listen to their problems.
Rahul never said no. He always made time for everyone.
One day, Rahul had an important interview. Just before leaving, a friend called him with another problem.
Rahul stayed on the phone for almost an hour, helping his friend.
By the time he reached the interview, he was late and exhausted.
That evening, Rahul sat quietly and looked at his phone. He realized something
"he had spent so much time charging everyone else's life" that his own battery was almost empty.
And he started setting boundaries.
He still helped people, but
He stopped giving all his energy to everyone.
He finally understood:
You can care about people without draining yourself for them.
Sometimes, you need to save some energy for yourself too.
